I watched this yesterday and that Kabuki blood spurt has got me wondering. It seems to be a spot of sorts that he replicated during the 90s (I have some old Japanese mags that show him emitting that distinctive jet of blood in other matches). That - and the illusionist's slight-of-hand that he employed in popularising the poison fog - has got me wondering if he either was taping a 'blood tube' into his long hair or had mastered a pretty unique way of causing the blood to legitimately jet out like that.

That is something I've never ever seen before. Wow. Then it basically stops bleeding and looks like someone strapped the shit out of him.

Yeah, but before that it bleeds so much that he's wearing, not so much a crimson mask, but a crimson cape. Then he gets slammed into the mat a couple of times and and the blood rubs off onto the canvas... only for it to keep bleeding so he's wearing a fresh coat of blood a minute or two later.

The finish of the Last Man Standing Deathmatch, that's something you won't ever have seen in wrestling before (and I'm not joking).
