WCW vs. the World FTW! What an awesome roster that was.  New Japan Andre!  Tiger Mask!

I still have my WCW vs. The World copy along with Smackdown: Here Comes The Pain and Smackdown vs. RAW 2006. Will have to play them again on my PS2. I have Fire Pro Wrestling on Game Boy Advance. Satisfying gaming on the go. I gained a CRITICIAL! with Vader while waiting for the National Media Museum to open so I could buy tickets for the first IMAX screening of The Dark Knight in 2008.

Vink comes from my local promotion in Melbourne (same promotion that produced Slex and Adam Brooks of recent ROH stints, and before that, Emma, Buddy Murphy, and uggh.......Mr. Juicy/Gino Gambino who paid his way into a Bullet Club membership years after it meant anything. Stay tuned as I slut shame all of the above people and provide salacious dirt on that time they didn't set up the ring that one time)

I only really saw him work as a Bruno-esque top of the card babyface who had a strong-man moveset and sold for the most of his stuff. It wasn't particularly engaging, but obviously a great look.

My understanding is that he had a really good heel run on the way out before going to Florida, and showed a lot more of what he could do. I think there's definite upside to him.

Oof poor Gino haha.

I only really started going regularly to MCW and other Melbourne shows towards the end of Sextons run, but he always stood out due to his size and his charisma. It was funny at this farewell match in Melbourne that I don't think many knew he was going to WWE. Everyone was super pumped for Jonah getting the shot in NXT that when Jonah tried to get the thank you Sexton chant going and clue everyone it, it went completely over the crowd's head. Funny how things end up that Jonah is rarely seen in NXT now while Sexton is getting this huge opportunity.

I believe Nitro (and Thunder) was made by a company who had only made a fishing and/or hunting video game prior to the WCW games.

Judging by how shitty their wrestling games were, I'd venture a bet that the fishing and hunting minigames in RDR2 were better.

Okay.... since I am getting referenced directly

Almost everything on the last 3 or 4 pages has places elsewhere on the board

- Wrestling Video Games = Video Game Folder (I mean where the fuck where you fuckers during the like 6 other times the topic has come up)

- Revival on Jericho's podcast = the Podcast thread (especially when folks aren't even bothering to read each others posts and just recap the same things. Hey! Did you know Vince thinks Southerners are stupid!)

- What to watch on the WWE Network = the Network Conversation thread

- Heck I could yell at Pete for posting Wrestle Dynasty's cancellation in here. (That one makes sense at least)

I have been kind of letting it go mainly because it moved us off other topics that needed to die. I try to gentle nudge folks in the right direction but I guess sometimes I need to be more blunt. (And not sleep clearly since that when y'all get really active)

Some of you only read this thread and use it for everything because it falls under "wrestling". If that is your preference, fine but don't be surprised if folks who follow/enjoy the few standards we have on the board ask that things be followed.

If we extend the reasoning that "well its about wrestling" to its fullest extent that means "FULL IN DEPTH REVIEWS OF THE ROCK'S MOVIES!!!" or as Casey noted Jesse Ventura's politics. Or I will just let John start his Hall of Fame rants in here. You will really fucking regret it then.

So what can we talk about in here cos you could say that about everything in here.

There will come a point where nobody will go into this thread cos there is loads of mini threads and not everyone wants to go into the mini threads and just want a general info on something. Well that is just me speaking but just sharing my opinion.

A&E and WWE Studios are partnering together for a new series focused on WWE memorabilia.

It was announced today that A&E Network has greenlit a series with the working title "The Quest for Lost WWE Treasures." It will be hosted by Stephanie McMahon and Paul "Triple H" Levesque and will take viewers "on the ultimate hunt to find some of WWE’s most iconic, lost memorabilia."

The series will feature 10 one-hour episodes.

Right now there are two recently released guys who are punching walls that doesn't have any action figures on it

BTW, this is going back to the whole argument of why did Omega let a job guy get in so much offense against him, but I had another take that I never saw. I disagree with all of the outrage (for lack of a better term) towards Omega letting someone get in that much offense. As many others stated, Flair and plenty of others have done the same.

The way I see it is like this: Yeah, Flair or Bret or Omega or HHH or whoever could just steamroll an opponent, but how does that prepare them for bigger matches? I always kinda saw it as those top guys letting their opponent get their licks in so that those top guys could toughen up for bigger matches, know what to do when put in dangerous situations, know how to withstand submissions, etc. It's the same thing as MMA fighters training and defending against submissions or sparring. I don't really have a problem with top wrestlers appearing to have some struggles against lesser opponents because it's all just preparation for the bigger match. Ultimately, it's an exhibition.

This is all probably just "head cannon" on my part, but it's how I tend to look at it and it makes me feel comfortable with what I'm seeing.

All except the one for the 6-man belt.

I would die if somehow HHH and Steph beat Conrad to the punch for getting that 6-man belt.

Does anyone know the known OnlyFans accounts during this pandemic?

Speaking of which, Jim Ross found his way into my Twitter feed today.

He was basically trying to promote Sunny's Onlyfans account.

I have no idea what Onlyfans is, but the board has given me the impression it's some sort of softcore porn site.  Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah.... this is the first time good 'ole JR has found his way into my social media.  Hopefully, it's the last.  Didn't really do much to dispel my vague suspicion that there's something creepy about JR (though, to be fair, I kinda think that about most people who have been around Vince long term.

First I'll have to ask DZ what Cameo is.

I'm old....

Cameo, is basically like those happy birthday calls you’d get from a celebrity, but instead it’s a video. OnlyFans is like having a Instagram account with a pay wall, with more raunchier content. Models tend to have it, and in wrestling it tends to be women. Of course it has to be raunchy because otherwise why bother paying for an alternative to a free social media system?

Obviously you don't know what you're talking about because that's apparently every female wrestler on OnlyFans.

Sadly no one from Cameo is on Cameo. Taking a deep dive on who’s working the Orwellian gimmick table that is Cameo is well worth it.

KO is a fan of the Office?

How can he be a fan of the Office and not show up wearing a hazmat suit and cut a promo with a megaphone?
