I should also add that I watched Orton/Edge on my iPad, and there was so much grunting and panting, my wife thought I was watching porn.  She just couldn’t figure out how the guy constantly counting to 10 figured in.

Cena Vs. Wyatt felt like an IWC thread come to life. I think they went way too overboard. If Taker Vs. AJ was part one, this was like the really bad eighth sequel of a horror franchise.

Jason X is fucking art.

Lol, good wrestling (judging by feedback) on night one wasn't enough to convince me that I want to watch empty arena wrestling.

Bad wrestling in the form of the Edge match and whatever the Cena thing was have got me curious enough to watch night two.

I can't imagine liking the Firefly Funhouse match.  Bray has never done a thing for me, and Meltzer's recap sounds awful.

So do we have the Coronavirus to thank for the Funhouse and Boneyard matches, or were those already planned to be exactly as they were prior to the world coming to an abrupt stop?

I can't envision any way they would have shown two of those in one night to 70,000 people with zero live action in front of them.

Since Taker can't actually work a match at all these days, and Cena doesn't seem to actually want to, I'd say it's a safe bet this was always the plan.

I look forward to the Red Letter Media guys mocking the Firefly Funhouse Match on the next edition of Best of the Worst.

Okay, I don't watch WWE anymore but I had to see the 'Taker/Styles match and I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to check out Wyatt/Cena. I really dug it too! It wasn't a masterpiece and of course it was convoluted and silly, but I like Wyatt's mind games finally breaking Cena at the end. I would've cut the WCW stuff out but other than that, I thought it was neat how Bray took Cena on a trip down memory lane and directly referenced their last Mania match, showing how he's evolved. If only every non-Bryan match of his could be done in this way, that would be great.

While I was trying to find where Cena/Wyatt was on the show I was lucky enough to witness just about two minutes go between Edge setting Orton up for the conchairto and him actually doing it. The worst of the worse bad wrestling acting right there. Fuck that shit.

I feel for Drew. He worked his entire career for this moment, to main event the biggest show in pro wrestling and get his first big coronation over a dominant champion and he gets it in front of zero fans. Heart breaking for him.

Charlotte/Rhea was damn near fantastic and easily the best match from both nights. I don't think Charlotte needed to win this, but I also don't think she needed to lose even though that would have been my preference. Rhea looked great in the ring against her and didn't leave this looking worse despite the loss,. And if I'm being honest, I think Charlotte as an invader champ is way more interesting than Rhea as champ. Hopefully she is an ass in NXT for a couple of months before Rhea takes the title back or Io wins it off of her.

Otis/Ziggler was not anything noteworthy, but I dug the happy ending. Really wish this one had been in front a crowd considering how over the story was.

Edge/Orton was ridiculously long. A hardcore type of match this length with no audience was just dumbass. This need to be a third the length it actually was.

Profits vs. Garza/Theory was alright.

The 5-way was almost surprisingly good. They actually did some solid stuff story wise with everyone getting a pretty decent chances to shine when it came to the action. This is easily the best Tamina match I can recall.

The Firefly Fun House match was pretty much WWE's Final Deletion with its humor, but it also managed to have an odd touch of seriousness as a career retrospective of both Bray and Cena. Honestly ,I thought it was pretty great. Probably rate it above the Boneyard match which I really didn't think I would. Will be interesting to see if and when we see Cena return.

Drew/Brock was about what I expected. I'd rate it higher than Braun/Goldberg, but its still missing that atmosphere to make it more. Still nice to see Drew win the big one.

Night 1 was better than Night 2, but Night 2 was solid. It was only brought down from good via the terrible Orton/Edge match. Kind of amazing how bad that ended up being considering that it had the best build going in. The women were easily the MVPs this year. Every one of them worked hard, and I thought they had the best actual matches both nights. With that said, the Boneyard and Firefly Fun House matches are why this Wrestelmania will be remembered as far as actual content goes. They aren't the first cinematic movie matches WWE has done, but they were w/o a doubt the best. Its impressive how different they managed to be as while still hitting a solid quality. On the whole I think this was a good Wrestlemania which is kind amazing to me considering the no fans situations caused by the pandemic.
