The implication was that since Ian always had no money he paid wrestlers in drugs

I got that. I just was amazed at how he attempted to explain that Punk didn’t work or wrestle for Ian when he clearly did both.

Weren’t him and Hero doing broadways on some of the shows or is my memory fucked?

Or did SK’s sarcasm fly right over my head?

I’m starting to worry WWE’s revisionist ways will bleed over to fans and we will have people on here saying someone never wrestled for a company because they got paid in hot dogs. ??‍♂️

Actually, Dana White claims UFC is going to buy/rent a private island and resume running weekly events later this month.

I don't know. If WWE went with the "buy a private island' thing, then suddenly they'd have to go all out.

Hire Dario Cueto as the island head, go full cinematic matches- and go for the perfect mix between Lucha Underground and "go full-out Mortal Kombat with the programming"

Seriously.  Dana White is turning this shit into Enter the Dragon/Mortal Kombat.

Apparently it’s not a private island, and instead it’s a casino in a Indian reservation.

The Reservation is for US fighters.

Kumate Island is for International Fighters.

I thought it was "reservation right now, island in a couple months once we get the deal done"

Basically.  The April 18th card is reportedly being held on an Indian reservation in California.  Previously, Dana had been saying the event would be held in "an undisclosed location".  Dana said yesterday that weekly events would start being held on a private island by/in May.

ESPN had a guest on last night discussing UFC.  Didn't recognize the guy and I missed the beginning of the segment, but I did catch the guy saying UFC had already thought of and planned for any question or objection anyone could possibly think of.

I'm really looking forward to seeing one of the UFC guys ride a dinosaur to the ring.

If it wasn't Ariel Helwani (or Dana himself), it's likely Brett Okamoto.

Before this whole thing, a few weeks before they started canceling/postponing cards, they were looking at Pechanga casino in Temecula and also the Firelake Arena in Shawnee, OK. I think one or both of those fell through (further research shows Pechanga is completely closed down) or they couldn't figure out how to get more than just American fighters on those cards (the next card was suppose to be in London at the O2 Arena w/ a bunch of UK fighters). That's when a bunch of countries started having strict travel restrictions. I guess they figured out later on the only way to get around that is an island with lax travel restrictions.

So now that they have Tachi Palace in Lemoore and another place not in the United States, they can mix and match as well come up with new fights as they see fit and not have to worry about travel bans.

He said he did wrestle for him, but since he didn't get paid he didn't work for him. Similar to volunteering. It was an overelaborate joke.

If Gargano and Ciampa (or Cole) had a sixty minute Iron Man match, how long do you think the overtime would go after it ended in a draw?

Vince would have been so disappointed in Shelton's performance in Brawl for All 2: The Quickening...

Regal would of won that if that was true.

If they did a Brawl For All now who would compete in it and who would win?

I reckon that AOP would be in there as they are legit tough guys, maybe Daniel Bryan, Jack Gallagher, Oney Lorcan, Danny Burch, Alestair Black, Angelo Dawkins, Bobby Lashley, Braun Strowman, Dash Wilder, Baron Corbin, Mustafa Ali and probably Otis

I reckon they would push Baron Corbin to win and he gets knocked out first round by eventual winner Oney Lorcan who will then lose every match by KO until he leaves.

So apparently Nia Jax stepped in and complained to management when Alexa Bliss and (Name Redacted) were feuding because the person who's initials both begin with R, was legit injuring her in the ring.  Good for her.

This is from Paige's Twitch:
