JonnyLaw
This may only appeal to me, but I watched Pick It Up: Ska in the 90s last night and really enjoyed it.
Curt McGirt
Thanks, I passed that along to my bigtime Third Wave fans (who have probably seen it but who knows)
Contentious C
Since it's all but certain things like documentaries will get short shrift in the main body of ballots, it'd be interesting to peel through the various genres of films and do a re-ordering that only includes that genre. Like, top however-many of Docs, etc. Probably a lot of work. But, I bet you'd get a handful of us willing to slice and dice the data that way and repost. Protip: don't give J.T. the horror stuff or he'll sneak Hereditary on top even if it's not actually # 1...
New Blood
I think documentaries have been the strongest genre of the last 20+ years. With how affordable film equipment have become and the amount of interesting voices that are out there, there’s so much to choose from. Here are some that will make my ballot: The Act of Killing Exit Through the Gift Shop Holy Hell I Am Not Your Negroe The Invisible War Jiro Dreams of Sushi Jodorowsky’s Dune Memphis Heat: The True Story of Memphis Wrasslin’ Nostalgia for the Light Project Nim Rewind This!
