Brian Fowler
Well, other than probably preferring the Pelicans to win, the NBA couldn't have asked for a better pair of opening games.

Dolfan in NYC
I remember a time when 85-75 would be a final score. And then Jeff Van Gundy would grab Alonzo Mourning's leg.

NikoBaltimore
I love Giannis dearly (it's a Greek thing) and even I agree he got away with that. Couldn't help but go "Oh, come on!" when they overturned it. Hoping that's the last time it happens.

Jiji
This is the same dork Rockets team I've been watching since Harden arrived. Win or lose here, with how this team plays no way. Edited August 1, 2020 by Jiji

Dolfan in NYC
Jimmy Butler tried to play the game with no name on the back of his jersey as his tribute to the Black Lives Matter movement. He was ordered to change to a jersey with his name, which he eventually did before tipoff. Also...
Brian Fowler
Houston got the win, but ooof were they powerless to defend Porzingis. I really want a Houston/Denver series and see the Nuggets use their "nobody under 6'7"" emergency lineup just to see that happens. Does Houston just light them up, scoring at will? Does Denver just smash the Rockets into little pieces, unable to be stopped and grabbing every rebound?
