What’s the best buffet on the strip, and which casino has the least crooked games? There is this marvelous hotel called the Tangiers, and they have a great show at their new sportsbook led by the venerable Ace Rothstein. I'm not much of gambler and I only remember eating in a really good Italian restaurant on Christmas night. Most of my time was spent drinking along the strip and doing coke. I did get to take a limo ride off the strip to a strip club. There's more to the story, but I don't really feel like sharing anymore than I have. Peck
Oh, and for God's sakes, don't get suckered in to playing the slots in the actual airport. Yes, I know it's tempting as soon as you land but just don't.

It’s all hit or miss to me and I’m not a big buffet fan. The reality is if you got an appetizer and entree at any restaurant, that’s the same amount of food you’re gonna eat at a buffet. But if you’ve never been to Vegas and it interests you then you should try one. Almost all the strip casinos are owned by two companies and they have set odds through the properties. I hear downtown casinos are a little looser but I still haven’t been. One day I want to stay downtown because they say it’s a totally different vibe.

Strip casinos are almost all exclusively either MGM or Caesars properties. I kinda think of the Strip as more polished compared to downtown. Fremont St. is a little bit more of a younger vibe despite the casinos themselves generally being older. I always stay on the Strip but I'll take the Deuce bus downtown one evening of my trip. Some pretty talented street performers downtown as well. Plus, you can kick this guy in the nuts as hard as you can:

Technico Support
I went to Vegas, didn't eat at a single buffet, lost $40 at roulette and didn't gamble again. I am the most boring motherfucker you know.
Curt McGirt
Going back and watching this one again: Dustin on the mic is fucking FIRE. Short and to the point. Even if his feud has been cold he reignited it within the space of a minute, and Hager looked furious. The Jungle Boy/MJF match is really, really good. Even with the Poison Rana. SCU tried to have a different match with some heat but Hangman (who I guarantee doesn't listen to real Cowboy Shit) and the insufferable Omega just drug it into their video game realm. If that match had juniors a hundred or so pounds lighter working it it might've been fast enough to be good, but everyone looked like they were working in slow motion. Say it with me here folks: Just because you CAN do it doesn't mean you SHOULD do it. Nyla as Vader is fantastic. Hey PAC -- nice tits! The cage match needs blood. Please please please we need BLOOD. LoneWolf&Subs
I disagree on the that tag match Curt, I thought SCU did a enough different to set the match apart from the cruise match. I especially loved the moment near the end where Bryce wasn’t going to allow a double submission to take place. On that note, they’ve really tightened the tag rules the past couple of weeks to make it less chaotic. Or the wrestlers are doing a better job following the imaginary rules. Could usually last long enough to feel like I got 35 dollars worth of entertainment and drinks. Fuck buffets on the strip. Overpriced. Go to Fremont Street if you really need a buffet. Rera's is also a good spot for Irish Pub Food My joke about Evo is that everyone who goes thinks they're Kenny Omega, but in the end they turn out to be Taichi. It really sucks they're not doing an event at CEO this year- they could have given out free Dark Order masks to everyone who went 0-2.
Mike Campbell
Apparently, the marked improvement over AEW's TV shows and their overall product seems to coincide with Tony Khan taking on a more hands on role in the creative area.

HarryArchieGus
I love these no intro/straight to the ring openings. And that tag was ‘fire’ as they say. This company listening to their audience and changing direction where needed is one of its greatest assets. Viva Dr Baker!
LoneWolf&Subs
Putting the tag belts on Omega & Page turned out to be the right call. Both men lacked direction, so putting them on TV almost every week in tag matches have gotten people familiar with their movesets, and spots. Which was something the long singles matches weren’t necessarily doing for them.
HarryArchieGus
Very true. Also, Page got a great big helping of character. And what an excellent team they’ve proven to be! Edited February 17, 2020 by HarryArchieGus
