The Peter Falk wrestling movie All The Marbles is pretty darn underrated silly wrestling movie. It also has a pretty great almost unedited woman’s tag team match near the end that’s just as good as the AJW tag matches from that period.

You can rent it off Amazon Prime Video.

They used to show this on The Movie Channel almost every other day from 1983 to 1985! Per Wikipedia there was a planned sequel "The California Dolls Go to Japan" that got shelved since this flick bombed at the box office.

Gotta love Riddle grabbing for the brass ring and Vince not liking how he is grabbing for it.

Also, we all pretty much knew Riddle wouldn't be used well in WWE, right? He's kinda safe while he's in NXT, but he was signed in part to prevent him from going to NJPW when it looked like NJPW was going to have a much larger US presence. No one signed for that reason, that has Riddle's personality, and is able to get himself over outside of the WWE creative machine was going to have a bright future in WWE.

It would not surprise me if Riddle leaves WWE once his contract is up. That isn't to say he'll wind up in AEW, but I could see him working in Impact or ROH or NJPW. He doesn't strike me as someone that's all about the money as long as the money is comparable and the creative opportunities are there.

There is a difference between grabbing for the brass ring and acting like an ass towards top stars. Also Riddle didn't work NJPW because of marijuana. He had his original appearance there canceled over it. That doesn't seem likely to change if he left WWE.

Riddle tweeting that Goldberg is the worst wrestler in the business isn't grabbing for the brass ring. It isn't even building up a match between the two, because if one were to take place, Riddle is basically saying it would suck.

It's also the same thing everyone jumped down Corey Graves's throat for. The difference is that the general IWC opinion agreed with RIddle and disagreed with Graves.

They were actively trying to sign him when he signed with wwe. Something changed in their thought process and they were suddenly ok with him.

Hopefully, that also would have featured Inoki.

That's her favourite band, though. Imagine if your favourite band wrote a song about you.

To be fair, the Manic Street Preachers were going to do a song for Wade Barrett, but Vince didn't think they were famous enough. They're famous all over the world, except in America.

It helps that Riddle is infinitely more likable than Graves.  Then again, there are some less-lethal forms of cancer that are more likable than Graves.

Well god damn pal. If they aren't famous in AMERICA then they aren't famous! Let's just get Limp Bizkit to do it.

I looked up other wrestling movies and found one where Henry "The Fonz" Winkler plays a wrestler. Also featuring Herve Villechaize, Chavo Sr. and Roddy Piper

Also, this is also a thing that exists - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pro_Wrestlers_vs_Zombies

Whooooaaaaaa, and Feeny too! Ed Begley Jr. as well. I'm sure it's awful but a fun cast!

If you have an IWTV subscription, you need to watch AIW Built to Last. Alex Shelley and Lee Moriarty just had a legit MOTYC.

Speaking of Alexa, in today's Page 6 section of professional wrestling news, she's apparently now dating singer Ryan Cabrera(he's not Pitbull)

So he is...Pitbull #2?
