Curt McGirt
She was fucking great. I'd even give her a greater credit than Dario for writing Suspiria because she came up with the very concept. Her screaming in the last shot of Tenebrae might be as much of a stunner as the end of Inferno to me. RIP

He also had bit parts in Hammer Film's vampire epic, Vampire Circus, as well as A Clockwork Orange. IIRC he also did some creature work for Space: 1999 and Third Doctor era Doctor Who. Curt McGirt
Yeah, he was the bodybuilder roommate of Patrick Magee in Clockwork Orange. I didn't know that until I looked him up after watching him in Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell earlier this year. That was a pretty good Hammer Frankenstein btw, fairly gory since it was the last one in the cycle, but had an interesting story too. Prowse himself was a solid Monster. Curt McGirt
Huh, so I guess he played Frankenstein three times. Quote In the mid-1960s, David Prowse, later famous for his portrayal of Darth Vader in the first Star Wars trilogy, had actually gone into the Hammer offices to express his desire to portray one of their movie monsters, but was rather abruptly dismissed. As several years passed by and he went about building a larger body of work through various film roles, he was eventually approached by Jimmy Sangster about being cast as this revisionist Baron Frankenstein's laboratory creation. Prowse has the distinction of being the only actor to have portrayed Frankenstein's monster in more than one Hammer film: this production marked his first such appearance; the second occasion was Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell (1974), where his overall appearance was much more horrifically elaborate. He also appeared briefly in the traditional Frankenstein's monster make-up and costume in a gag appearance in Casino Royale (1967). They're talking about Horror of Frankenstein BTW Edited November 29, 2020 by Curt McGirt
Travis Sheldon
Early 90s I was at a convention running a booth next to David Prowse as he signed autographs for the fans. Got to chat with him on and off for the hours we were there, a very charming man. R.I.P.

Casey
That one hits close to home. My mother has MS, and it's a bitch of a disease. Shit, even before my mother was diagnosed with MS, when I was a kid I would watch TV Land at night before bed and Laverne & Shirley was one of the shows they'd air. Squiggy was like a discount, sleazy and more comical Fonz and I loved it.
