DDT is running Ultimate Party 2020 tonight/the 3rd in Japan. Looks a fun show on paper. Here's the card via the DDT blog (where you can find detailed breakdowns for every match on the card):

DDT “ULTIMATE PARTY 2020”, 03/11/2020
Tokyo Ota Ward Gymnasium

0. Under Match: Keigo Nakamura Vs Hideki Okatani
0. Under Match: Hiroshi Yamato & Hoshitango Vs Mizuki Watase & Yukio Naya
1. MAO Return Battle: MAO Vs Shunma Katsumata
2. Danshoku Dieno Vs Akito
3. 4 Way 6-Man Tag Match: Kazusada Higuchi, Yukio Sakaguchi & Saki Akai Vs Toru Owashi, Naomi Yoshimura & Kazuki Hirata Vs Mad Paulie, El Lindaman & Nobuhiro Shimatani Vs Super Sasadango Machine, Makoto Oishi & Antonio Honda
4. DDT Extreme Title – Yanekabe Presents Weapon Rumble: Shinya Aoki (c) Vs Sanshiro Takagi
5. Special Tag Match – HarashiMarafuji Vs CimaSoma: HARASHIMA & Naomichi Marufuji Vs CIMA & Soma Takao
6. DDT UNIVERSAL Title: Chris Brookes (c) Vs Yuki Ueno
7. Special Single Match: Jun Akiyama Vs Konosuke Takeshita
8. KO-D Openweight Title – BLACK OUT Presents: Tetsuya Endo (c) Vs Daisuke Sasaki

Was supposed to be at Sumo Hall but plans change. Same with Omega's return to face Endo for the title.

Ueno is another ripped, handsome dude that DDT seems to generate every 3 years or so. Grumpy Akiyama vs. Takeshita should rule, as will the main event. Aoki and Takagi will bring the visual gags. Good to see MAO back from a serious knee injury too. Hopefully it's not too long before Bailey can return to Japan, though apparently his US ban is up shortly so he may sign with one of the American companies. He's certainly better than a lot of people they've been signing as of late. The story with the main event is Sasaki has vowed to retire from wrestling if he can't beat Endo, after DAMNATION sided with Endo in the two's beef.

CIMA, Kento Miyahara and Yuma Aoyagi vs  Hikaru Sato, Shuji Ishikawa and SUWAMA

NOAH :

Daiki Inaba and Kaito Kiyomiya vs. Jinsei Shinzaki and Kenoh.

Add those to the already announced matches:
- Hokuto Omori vs. Kohei Sato
- Atsuki Aoyagi vs. Jake Lee
- Dan Tamura vs. Shotaro Ashino

Fun little card.

Also, the Twitter scuttlebutt is that these are the teams for the junior tag tournament:

- Hikaru Sato & Dan Tamura
- Yu Iizuka & Tetsuya Izuchi (from HEAT UP)
- Hokuto Omori & Yusuke Kodama
- Black Menso~re & SUSHI
- Yusuke Okada & X
- Atsuki Aoyagi & Rising HAYATO
- Izanagi & Masashi Takeda
- Koji Iwamoto & Fuminori Abe

Looks like fun. Glad to see Abe back—JIN basically formed and then disappeared with Nomura’s injury and COVID. Weird that Aoyagi is teaming with HAYATO instead of Akira Francesco. Maybe Hidaka shows back up?

AJPW and related stuff of note:

The Yoshi vs Kasai tag could become deathmatch...probably just barbwire boards in the corner or no dq.

I am expecting again one more wrestler to officially join AJPW next year.

AEON DE Wrestling in Makuhari Royal Road Gaiden show at Dec 6. Free of charge, 3 matches.

Next year we have the Baba memorial show,  expect mostly tags and battle royal.

G plus will air new show about old AJPW and etc.

I would had said Tajiri but his price tag going contracted would probably be too much.  One of those guys you mentioned above more likely.

The big show for 2022 is still on and more money will be allocated to that show.

The Vice President of AJPW said they will still do big men pro wrestling, but will try to become more new AJPW. They want to create a new history but also honor the past, and increase the fanbase. They will also use membership exchange SNS sites to expand the older male audience (40 to 50 plus)

So far 6 man tags, women division are the new elements being added.  Not sure what else they will try in the next two years.

Gleat is now looking for men and women to train under UWF style.

And this is the next experimental match under regular pro wrestling  rules.  They will use these types of matches give their two contracted guys more experience.

Retired Pro Wrestler Naoya Ogawa will show up in AJPW at the final show for the Tag League.  Wonder if they will try to link up with his dojo?

Fujita dissed Suwama, not sure if anything will come out of this..could just be banter.
