One of the first one we encountered with in the French footage was L'Homme Masque.

Of course, one of the others was Le Bourreau de Bethune (The Executioner of Bethune)

As much as Into the Fire was the absolute best, I'm digging the new Powerrr theme music a lot. Good show this week. Solid opening with Murdoch and Aldis. Marti Belle continues to look great. Enjoying all the different angles explored throughout the show. the Jax/Crimson thing was different, but I always dig a good chaotic brawl ending with multiple stories/feuds connecting at once.  Next week goes back to being a recap week.

NWA Powerrr - September 14, 2021

*Trevor Murdoch called out Nick Aldis and put him over for the champion he was. Murdoch said he would give Aldis the floor to speak to the people. Aldis talked about going to a Harley Race camp when he started and how Murdoch came to speak to the students while he was WWE tag champ. Aldis put over the NWA and said if he had to lose, he's glad it was to Murdoch and now he deserves his chance to prove himself to the world. Aldis said he would give Murdoch the floor, because it's time for him to step away for awhile. Aldis told Murdoch it would be the hardest but most rewarding experience of his life to carry the NWA Championship. Murdoch and Aldis shook hands as Aldis then left.

*Aron Stevens & Kratos def. The Rude Dudes (El Rudo & Jamie Stanley) (4:44) when Kratos pinned Stanley after a deadlift suplex to advance in the tag team tournament. After the match, May Valentine interviewd Aron & Kratos. Kratos said everyone expected he and Aron to split up, but he believes in brotherhood and he will always have Aron's back. Kratos put over Aron and said he's sticking by his side no matter what. Kratos encouraged him to bring out what's inside. Aron said he had some decisions to make.

*James Storm challenged Judais to a match with any stipulation he wants if Judais put his NWA National Title shot on the line.

*Marti Belle (w/ Allysin Kay) def. Paola Blaze (w/ Taryn Terrell & Jennacide) (3:36) after Hell's Belles. After the match, Kamille assaulted Melina, who was on commentary.

*May Valentine interviewed The Pope, who teased cashing in his Champions Series title shot for a world title match. May then interviewed JTG & Colby Corino about the tag team tournament. May then introduced Chelsea Green & Kiera Hogan. Chelsea screamed that she would kill Kamille next time, while Kiera felt disrespected by Mickie James and wanted a conversation with her.

*Jordan Clearwater (w/ Austin Idol & BLK Jeez) def. Cyon the Masked Man & Jeremiah Plunkett (w/ Danny Deals) (3:33) to become #1 contender to the TV title after Idol knocked out Cyon with a loaded fist from ringside.

*Jax Dane and Crimson had a "Humiliation Match" where they were to take turns slapping each other. Trevor Murdoch was the special judge. After one slap each, Jax attacked Crimson and beat him down. Thom Latimer & Chris Adonis ran down to attack Murdoch. The Pope ran out for the save. Judais came out and went after Chris Adonis, followed by James Storm, resulting in a wild brawl all around ringside.

Pretty good episode this week. Loved the opening, Tim Storm can just turn it up at any moment. Solid tag team match and Jennacide/Allysin was a fun short match. Main event was random but all chaos all the way through.

Interesting main event and post match angle, wasn't expecting full on babyface Nick Aldis so suddenly but should give him a good different direction after his long run as champ. Kept expecting a turn on Storm but glad that didn't happen. triple threat tag was fun and the other matches were decent short ones.

Kamille left and then Davis introduced Trevor Murdoch to ask about Jax Dane attempting to cash in on him. Murdoch talked about all he went through to become Worlds Champion and said he would fight anyone. The Pope came out so Davis asked if Pope would use his Champions Series shot at the world title as well. Pope assured that if he does, Murdoch will know when. Pope revealed he will give his answer next week.

*Kyle Davis interviewed Aron Stevens & Kratos, questioning why they are staying together despite losing the tag team titles. Kratos said he believes in brotherhood but that Aron needs to find the killer inside of him and that's why they lost the titles. Kratos said Stevens has never been accepted even by his own father and urged him to find the killer inside, then they would be unstoppable.

Solid angle progressing episode this week. Both tags were pretty good with the opener being the best match, though I love the sudden out of nowhere finish to the main event coming right off the hot tag.

Fun different show this week, as this was going to be a PPV at one point but ended up split in to two parts for Powerrr. Always dig the addition of theme music at shows like this. Liked the ecw esque match in to match flow early on. Surprised it's been this long for Jay Bradley to be involved in Billy's company in some way. Feels like a while since I'd seen Matt Taven and I'm always glad to see Mike Bennett, nice fresh faces for NWA.  The Hex continue to kill it as a team, both come off like stars. Main event was surprisingly great after not expecting much there at all. Mims looked fantastic out of nowhere.

Another solid episode this week. Always great to see Tim Storm in action, fun little match there. Kamille/Kenzie was good stuff with some great hope spots for Kenzie despite Kamille's dominance. Velvet and Austin Idol's back and forth banter on commentary is amusing. Tag was enjoyable and the main event was a nice bloody brawl.

NWA Hard Times 2.

Really enjoyable, good show all the way through. Surprised the womens' tags got moved to the preshow which ended up bigger than the expected 1 match, but that 4 way was fun chaos. Gauntlet was fun too, always good to see Ricky Morton involved. Great to see Austin Aries again, looking forward to more of him in NWA. Also good to see Doug Williams again for the first time in awhile. Mickie/Kiera was good stuff. Tyrus/Cyon was a blast of a plunder brawl. Adonis looked good, followed by the tag titles and Aldis/Latimer were shorter than I expected. Jazz speech was cool, made me want to see Rodney Mack in the NWA. Kamille/Melina was great, always look forward to Kamille's title defenses as all her big matches tend to deliver the goods. Interesting ending to the show. I figured Jax Dane would get involved again since Knox was such an out of nowhere PPV main event, but did not expect Cardona instead. Surprised every champion retained with so many title matches on the card, figured at least one would change hands. Looking forward to seeing the followup next on Powerrr now.
