I think everyone doing a Destroyer or Code Red or cutter variation is what annoys me the most. Everyone was doing superkicks, then it was tope suicidas, and now it's these three moves that everyone does.

It also reminds me of when Elix Skipper started doing the Play of the Day and then a bunch of dudes started doing the same finisher or variations of it.

Very possible Flair was more popular than Jordan in NC in the early to mid 80s before MJ went to the NBA.

Probably, but to be fair to MJ, Flair was an entrenched star in the mid Atlantic area from the mid 70s, while MJ was a Tar Heel for 3 years. Plus playing for North Carolina doesn't necessarily make him beloved throughout the state, given all the in state rivals.

Exactly. Flair was likely popular in all parts of the triangle, not just chapel hill.

When K-1 used to be on Eurosport, they had this really bad commentator who knew nothing about anything except Karate. So K-1 was in Vegas for (Sapp vs Kimo) and they showed Michael Jordan at ringside. The commentator misidentified him as Dr Dre. Then they showed actual Dr Dre at ringside, and he said "Oh no, that may indeed be Dr Dre".

Most recognisable Athlete on the planet, that.

Has anyone met Seth Rollins? Because if anyone has, how intelligent did he seem in person? His on screen character is that of a cerebral guy, but his social media content strongly implies that he's really not at all any kind of smart guy.

Second question (that popped into my head thanks to the first question), can anyone think of a wrestler who was a terrible talker on the indies, who then went to WWE and did those overly scripted promos and it was a massive improvement?

Side note: Who would think that was KKK related? It's not even white robes. Maybe he posted a negative of the image to be extra racist and super supportive of the KKK!

If Doctor Dre' had been there, too, that poor guy's head would have exploded.

Remember when Seth Rollins literally did fuck some racism?

Oh, yeah. The revenge porn/cheating with a neo-Nazi thing.

Seth Rollins is an interesting dude.

May not be the best but my personal fave was 2002: Stone Cold, Triple H, Kurt Angle, and Mr Perfect. Seeing Hennig, one of my faves ever, return and get so far was a great moment, I wish he'd stuck around.

I kept thinking Mr. Perfect was going to be eliminated and then he stuck around long enough to the point where I talked myself into him winning the damn thing.  It was great to see him back and he looked awesome.

The move in wrestling I hate the most is when one guy is on the apron near the corner or thereabouts and the other guy pulls himself up with the ropes and does a kick to the head.

I don't know why everyone does it,  Finn Balor is maybe the most popular guy doing it but several indy guys do it and all the crusierweights seem to do it.

If you do that move then it just tells me you aren't to be taken seriously.

The move in Wrestling I hatse the most is when one guy is on the apron, and the guy in the ring pulls the top rope and Brings Him In The Hard Way. Completely unrealistic. Do they think nobody has ever seen a Tug of War?

I didn't mind it so much until Excalibur started calling it a Gamangiri every single time anyone hit one, like some kind of verbal tic, glaringly drawing attention to how badly most of AEW overuses it.
