If you like watching guys just stiff the shit out of each other, I would recommend the Gary Jay vs Curt Stallion match from STL Anarchy show tonight on Independent TV.

By the way they are doing a gimmick where they are showing two different live streams at once.  The other show is Freelance Wrestling.  Unfortunately it only seem to work on the desktop or mobile browsers.  Hopefully it works on all platforms

Also learned tonight that if you REALLY want to piss off gamers, have the hashtag at your wrestling show #GTA2020

Family friendly promotion.

In their defense, Juan had already left before this surfaced. And they cut all ties with Rory Gulak IMMEDIATELY when that mess came out. I have my problems with them, but I do think they’re trying to get the scum out.

Sure, but I find it worrying that they attracted such kind of workers. After all, this is not a big company and I'd guess that everyone knew everyone.

I think the bigger picture is this shit is EVERYWHERE, and not just in wrestling. This fetish with underage girls, across the board, needs to stop. It's gross.

For other weird stuff:

Now, you might ask why this is weird? Before WK voices of wrestling said that NJPW is thinking (or was thinking) about bringing in Enzo for a program with GoD, but nothing happened at WK or NYD. And Northeast wrestling is a promotion where Enzo and Cass were getting some work. So you know, if someone tried to do some angle with Enzo and GoD this probably would be the place.

Thanks to me mumbling into the voice remote this morning, I noticed that there is some show called Championship Wrestling From Hollywood that comes on the Z Living channel of all things at the ass end of Saturday night / Sunday morning.

I thought Z Living was about yoga and health food and shit.

I know that CWH was an old NWA territory, so I am curious to see if it has any links or talent sharing with Billy Corgan's new NWA.

Has anyone checked this out to see if the show actually comes on and this isn't some sort of schedule glitch?

It looks like it's still in existence.  On one of the NWA episodes they showed a promo that Eli Drake did there.  Never heard of the Z Living channel but that is an odd channel to have wrestling on.

Yeah, I had it DVRd for awhile, but I never watched it so I just got rid of it. Lots of old matches and the talent pool didn't have anyone of note aside from Scorpio Sky. The first match I watched was charmingly inept.

Dave reported that it would start airing on a local network in the Bay Area at 3:30am, but I just checked the guide and it’s not showing up yet.

I believe it used to air on WGN also. Dylan Bostic worked there, Austin Aries did commentary on a few of the premiere episodes, Eli Drake, Scorpio Sky, and a few others were there. The matches weren't bad but the non-name talent didn't really keep my attention.

Funny you should ask...

This popped up in my YouTube recs about a week ago and I haven't gotten around to watching it yet. I can't not watch the Question Mark versus Jervis Cottonbelly, and I'll watch anything Thunder Rosa does.

CWFH has been on Z Living since at least Nov last year. I was watching it on there, then learned the Memphis airing of it is hosted by Dustin and Maria Starr. Plus the Memphis airing hits youtube at like 12pm central Saturdays. So watch it off youtube now. But it is a fun hour of wrestling.

Eric Watts from Tough Enough is one of the better people in the fed.

Hell since we are talking smaller indies,if you want to see a MS based fed's tv show, sometimes it is worth watching sometimes it is horrible,SWA championship Wrestling is uploaded every 2 weeks to the FITE app. SWA has been around like 12 years off and on. Runs all the white flight towns outside Hattiesburg.

They also did a free PPV on the FITE app last year. Brought in Aria Blake, from MLW,and Nature Boy Paul Lee and Davey Rich. But they do have a few decent talents. Like the Domination INC stable, lead by Billy D McClain, who owned and ran NWA Battlezone for years. You got the SWA Southern Heavyweight CHampion The Prince of Pain Joe Kane,Long time MS/LA indie vet, plus the best tag team in the deep south,Sons of TItans. Which is Barry Wolf, was #500 in the 2009 PWI 500 and had a decent sized role in that Free State of Jones movie, and Lukas Frost, another long time vet of the MS indie scene.

https://www.fite.tv/watch/swa-cw-episode-26/2p5cv/

That's the newest episode up on FITE. The owner of SWA got enough sponsors so the show airs every week on FOX affilates in 3 cities in MS. But for some reason they only upload 2 episodes a month to FITE.

Does anyone still follow Chikara?

I'm curious because I don't remember seeing any mention of Chikara at all in the 2019 indie thread or the monthly omnibus thread, other than a recent mention of some dude being arrested for possessing child pornography after someone saw something on his phone and called police.

Just curious.  Chikara was my favorite indie for a long while back in the 2000's but I started drifting out of it during the BDK storyline and stopped following it at all when it shut down then came back.  I think I've checked in on Chikara once since the shutdown.  That was several years ago.

I know a ton of people on EWB still follow it religiously.

Speaking of Chikara though, the current Jervis Cottonbelly (Kevin Condron) has been outed as a sex pest, sending unsolicited nudes to fans (and then using fan artwork sent to him for merch, without asking the artists).

I attempted to DVR the CWH show over the weekend and managed to tape an infomercial.  Either the schedule is fucked or it's a placeholder for future content.
