2020 NFL Draft - 4/23 - 4/25/20

With the 2019 NFL regular season complete, the first 20 picks of the 2020 NFL Draft are officially set. I'll update this list as more spots are determined.

The number after the team's record is their strength of schedule, which is the tiebreaker between teams with the same record. The higher pick goes to the team with the lower strength of schedule.

Draft order has been updated with the results from Wild Card Weekend.

Miami's pick from Houston currently sits at #27, but that could change depending on who loses this coming weekend. It won't be better than #25.

These are the 2020 draft choices in Rounds 2 and 3 that have already been traded:

Round 2

  • Raiders --> Bears (Khalil Mack)
  • Niners --> Chiefs (Dee Ford)
  • Chiefs --> Seahawks (Frank Clark)
  • Washington --> Colts (Montez Sweat)
  • Saints --> Dolphins (Erik McCoy)
  • Patriots --> Falcons (Mohamed Sanu)

Round 3

  • Giants --> Jets (Leonard Williams)
  • Bears --> Raiders (Khalil Mack)
  • Steelers --> Broncos (Devin Bush)
  • Texans --> Browns (Duke Johnson)
  • Seahawks --> Texans (Jadeveon Clowney) --> Raiders (Gareon Conley)
  • Niners --> Broncos (Emmanuel Sanders)

There's a ton of Day 3 picks that have already been traded, but some of them need clarification as to which teams are receiving them. You can see all of them in one place here.

So the Bears have no first or third round pick, and on top of that are also the Bears?

The counter to that is that they have Khalil Mack

However the counter to that counter is that they still have Mitch Trubisky

There is a college student on Twitter named Mark Jarvis who is trying to be the next Mel Kiper.  He's created this google doc that is basically all of his draft analysis that he's updating in real time.  If you're interested in this type of thing, here is the link.  It's still really early, but he's already done an incredible amount of work.

So Tua's recovering nicely.

However... there's apparently some drama starting around Burrow because Carson Palmer is out there  poisoning the well for Cincy and there are apparently people who are telling Cincy to take what they can from someone (read LA or Miami) to trade down so one of them can take Burrow.  ?

Burrow might not pull an Eli but I am sure he is praying Miami or whoever puts together a trade package so he doesn't end up in Cincy.

If I'm Cincy I'm asking for a Herchel Walker type package. Not that I'm sure Burrow is that good, but if I'm the drivers seat I'm asking for a TON. Burrow ought to pull an Elway/Eli though because Cincy is where QB's go to die.
