Gonzo Posted December 30, 2019 Posted December 30, 2019 (edited) With the 2019 NFL regular season complete, the first 20 picks of the 2020 NFL Draft are officially set. I'll update this list as more spots are determined. The number after the team's record is their strength of schedule, which is the tiebreaker between teams with the same record. The higher pick goes to the team with the lower strength of schedule. 2020 NFL Draft Order Cincinnati Bengals (2-14, .553) Washington (3-13, .500) Detroit Lions (3-12-1, .506) New York Giants (4-12, .473) Miami Dolphins (5-11, .484) Los Angeles Chargers (5-11, .514) Carolina Panthers (5-11, .549) Arizona Cardinals (5-10-1, .530) Jacksonville Jaguars (6-10, .484) Cleveland Browns (6-10, .533) New York Jets (7-9, .473) Oakland Raiders (7-9, .482) San Francisco 49ers (from Indianapolis Colts, 7-9, .492) Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-9, .500) Denver Broncos (7-9, .510) Atlanta Falcons (7-9, .545) Dallas Cowboys (8-8, .479) Miami Dolphins (from Pittsburgh Steelers, 8-8, .502) Oakland Raiders (from Chicago Bears, 8-8, .508) Jacksonville Jaguars (from Los Angeles Rams, 9-7, .536) Philadelphia Eagles (9-7, .455) Minnesota Vikings (from Buffalo Bills, 10-6, .461) New England Patriots (12-4, .469) New Orleans Saints (13-3, .486) Minnesota Vikings (10-6, .477) Miami Dolphins (from Houston Texans, 10-6, .520) Seattle Seahawks (11-5, .531) Baltimore Ravens (14-2, .494) Tennessee Titans (9-7, .488) Green Bay Packers (13-3, .453) San Francisco 49ers (13-3, .504) Kansas City Chiefs (12-4, .510) Edited April 9, 2020 by Gonzo 1
Gonzo Posted January 6, 2020 Author Posted January 6, 2020 (edited) Draft order has been updated with the results from Wild Card Weekend. Miami's pick from Houston currently sits at #27, but that could change depending on who loses this coming weekend. It won't be better than #25. Edited January 6, 2020 by Gonzo
Gonzo Posted January 12, 2020 Author Posted January 12, 2020 (edited) Barring a wacky comeback by Houston, picks 25, 26, and 28 are set. Pick #27 will go to whoever loses the Seattle/Green Bay game. Edited January 12, 2020 by Gonzo
Gonzo Posted January 20, 2020 Author Posted January 20, 2020 Barring one of the wackiest comebacks in NFL history in the NFC Championship Game, the first 30 spots in the draft order are set.
Brian Fowler Posted January 20, 2020 Posted January 20, 2020 You can see the downside to Tennessee going on that miracle run. Would be picking like 7 spots earlier.
Gonzo Posted January 20, 2020 Author Posted January 20, 2020 These are the 2020 draft choices in Rounds 2 and 3 that have already been traded: Round 2 Raiders --> Bears (Khalil Mack) Niners --> Chiefs (Dee Ford) Chiefs --> Seahawks (Frank Clark) Washington --> Colts (Montez Sweat) Saints --> Dolphins (Erik McCoy) Patriots --> Falcons (Mohamed Sanu) Round 3 Giants --> Jets (Leonard Williams) Bears --> Raiders (Khalil Mack) Steelers --> Broncos (Devin Bush) Texans --> Browns (Duke Johnson) Seahawks --> Texans (Jadeveon Clowney) --> Raiders (Gareon Conley) Niners --> Broncos (Emmanuel Sanders) There's a ton of Day 3 picks that have already been traded, but some of them need clarification as to which teams are receiving them. You can see all of them in one place here.

Death From Above Posted January 20, 2020 Posted January 20, 2020 So the Bears have no first or third round pick, and on top of that are also the Bears? Wonderful. Wonderful! 2

The counter to that is that they have Khalil Mack However the counter to that counter is that they still have Mitch Trubisky 1
Ryan Posted January 21, 2020 Posted January 21, 2020 Wow, I knew our SOS was garbage, but lowest in the league says it all about that 13-3 record. We should be in the top 18 somewhere.
Raziel Posted January 21, 2020 Posted January 21, 2020 I can't see any thing that this can be twisted into, nope. 1
Dolfan in NYC Posted January 23, 2020 Posted January 23, 2020 Dolphins owner Stephen Ross yesterday apparently made it known he really, really likes Joe Burrow. Pair that with this:
supremebve Posted January 23, 2020 Posted January 23, 2020 There is a college student on Twitter named Mark Jarvis who is trying to be the next Mel Kiper. He's created this google doc that is basically all of his draft analysis that he's updating in real time. If you're interested in this type of thing, here is the link. It's still really early, but he's already done an incredible amount of work. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1QbJONz-aRK6WCaSUH4sGS1wAjN_lkg1j7Mrtp1lGJxw/edit?usp=sharing 2
Gonzo Posted February 3, 2020 Author Posted February 3, 2020 The draft order for the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft is officially completely set.
Dolfan in NYC Posted February 10, 2020 Posted February 10, 2020 So Tua's recovering nicely. However... there's apparently some drama starting around Burrow because Carson Palmer is out there poisoning the well for Cincy and there are apparently people who are telling Cincy to take what they can from someone (read LA or Miami) to trade down so one of them can take Burrow. 1
Brian Fowler Posted February 10, 2020 Posted February 10, 2020 Well, Miami has plenty of trade assets to get a deal done it Cincy goes that route

Burrow might not pull an Eli but I am sure he is praying Miami or whoever puts together a trade package so he doesn't end up in Cincy.
Kuetsar Posted February 10, 2020 Posted February 10, 2020 (edited) If I'm Cincy I'm asking for a Herchel Walker type package. Not that I'm sure Burrow is that good, but if I'm the drivers seat I'm asking for a TON. Burrow ought to pull an Elway/Eli though because Cincy is where QB's go to die. hammerva Posted February 25, 2020 Posted February 25, 2020 The best part of this nonsense is Pat Mahomes response to this. A guy who also has really small hands supposedly
