NFL 2019 - WEEK SEVENTEEN

Dolfan in NYC

Oh shit, I didn't see that Carson's hip injury was a fracture and that he's done for the season. Seattle is such a random team that could easily win or lose against any team in the league but the injuries are too much that I could see them even losing to the Iggles at this stage.

Ha! As if Bill O’Brien would be so foolish to play JJ Watt in a meaningless game before the playoffs ...

Oh god ...

The #1 overall pick has been decided, but the race for #2 is still going strong!

  1. Cincinnati Bengals (1-14, .560)
  2. Washington (3-12, .498)
  3. Detroit Lions (3-11-1, .506)
  4. New York Giants (4-11, .471)
  5. Miami Dolphins (4-11, .492)
  6. Jacksonville Jaguars (5-10, .483)
  7. Los Angeles Chargers (5-10, .510)
  8. Carolina Panthers (5-10, .548)
  9. Arizona Cardinals (5-9-1, .531)
  10. New York Jets (6-9, .475)
  11. Denver Broncos (6-9, .519)
  12. Cleveland Browns (6-9, .527)
  13. Atlanta Falcons (6-9, .552)

Washington will wrap up the #2 overall pick with a loss to Dallas. If they win, Detroit could swoop in and take it.

With the Rams being eliminated from the playoffs, the Jaguars will have two picks in the top 20. Those picks are currently at #6 (theirs) and #20 (Rams).

With the Bears being eliminated from the playoffs, the Raiders will have two picks in the top 20, provided the wacky scenario that would need to play out for them to steal a playoff spot doesn't happen. Those picks are currently at #14 (theirs) and #18 (Chicago's).

Miami currently has three first round picks: theirs (#4), Pittsburgh's (currently #19), and Houston's (currently #25).

In "I'm sorry, but we've got playoff games to win" news...

New Orleans is working out Josh Gordon.

I believe you mean they are working out every wide receiver that was once on the Patriots roster at any time this season this morning in anticipation of a possible Super Bowl matchup.  At least the Saints steal opponents game plans the old fashioned way.

2 weeks of Patriots/Saints Super Bowl hype might legit make me quit football if it happens.

I should have just copied the tweet instead of typing it with my stupid, human fingers.

Anyway,  if you have one of those insane two week long finals in fantasy...

Zach Ertz is out for Philadelphia this weekend vs. the Giants

This sucks for the Steelers chances but to be honest they wouldn't have a chance to begin with if the Ravens didn't bench all their starters today

as well as the byzantine plot by which the Raiders qualify, which I hope everyone is pulling for for the sake of maximum lulz

Yes to be honest this scenario had a real chance if the Ravens and Texans were playing all out but why would they.   Texans could move into the 3 seed but is playing @ New England much better than playing @ Baltimore or worth risking the health of your team over?  Probably not.

I am wondering how hard Seattle will play tonight if they have no shot at a bye.  Obviously they want to beat the niners and obviously a home game is better in the wild card round but they are also banged up right now.  I guess they will go all out regardless.

Basically if the Packers beat the Lions then even if the Saints lose the Seahawks cannot get a bye.
