Death From Above
It's wild to me Aston Villa are still that high when they've done absolutely fucking nothing for as long as I've followed the sport.

Jiji
Phew, that was a tight one. Lo Celso, how'd he miss? Gomez looked a little nervous from the get go and having to play with a yellow for most of the game didn't make it any easier. Love how well Southampton has turned it around and I appreciate them winning at Leicester. Burnley are going down imo, they have been hot garbage for months now. Not sure who are going to join them alongside Norwich. Hope the Hammers stay up. Same with the Cherries and it's pretty cool what Pearson has done at Watford since taking over is awe inspiring, intimidating his players into performing hah. The Natural
Records by Liverpool in this run: Liverpool's record 38-game run - the stats Liverpool have 61 points in the Premier League in 2019-20 - the most any side has ever registered after 21 games in a single season across Europe's big five leagues (assuming three points for a win). Liverpool have collected 104 points across their last 38 Premier League matches (W33 D5 L0) - a record total by any team across a 38-match spell in the competition's history, overtaking 102-point stretches by Man City (ending in 2018) and Chelsea (2005). This is Liverpool's joint-best scoring run from the start of a season in English top-flight history, with the Reds also scoring in their opening 21 games in 1933-34. Liverpool have now gone 38 Premier League games without defeat; since their last league loss at Man City in January 2019, Tottenham have lost 16 Premier League matches by comparison, including three to the Reds. Liverpool have kept six consecutive clean sheets in the Premier League for the first time since December 2006 (seven). Roberto Firmino has scored five goals in his last six games for Liverpool in all competitions, as many as he had in his previous 30 appearances for the Reds before this run. AxB
You know how Sergio Aguero (177 goals) passed Thierry Henry (175) on the Top Premier League scorer's leaderboard? The media is playing up that he's know the leading non-Brit player, and speculating whether he can eventually catch Alan Shearer's total (260) before he leaves Man City. Or for that matter to catch Wayne Rooney's second place (208). Andy Cole's third spot (187) is more or less bound to be surpassed if Aguero stays healthy and getting games. But what they aren't thinking is, everyone ahead of him on the leaderboard got their goals playing for at least two different teams. Shearer is Newcastle & Blackburn, Rooney is Man U & Everton, and Cole is Newcastle, Man U, Blackburn, Fulham, Man City, Portsmouth & Sunderland. Aguero has only played for Man City in the Prem. The single team premier league record is... harder to find then I thought it would be. A lot of the record charts show League & Cup goals combined. Hang on... Shearer has 148 for Newcastle and 112 for Blackburn. Rooney has 25 for Everton and 183 for Man U. Cole has 43 for Newcastle, 93 for Man U, 27 for Blackburn, 12 for Fulham, 18 for Man City, 3 for Portsmouth and 0 for Sunderland. None of these totals add up to the total they should add up to. But anyway. I think Aguero might about to get a single team premier league record, maybe even this season. The Natural
Latest scores: Norwich 1-0 Bournemouth. Bournemouth down to 10 men. Bournemouth really in the shit. Manchester City 0-1 Crystal Palace. Southampton 2-3 Wolves. Southampton were 2-0 up. What a difference a season makes for Manchester City. Sorry, @Pete. SirFozzie
And Leicester drops all three to Burnley, to go with the two that Citeh dropped yesterday. Meanwhile, Liverpool is beating Man Yoo in the first 15 minutes. What's the earliest (realistically) mathematically it could be over?
