The first game of Wild Card Weekend this January is going to feature either Dallas or Philadelphia hosting whoever finishes second in the NFC West and getting shithammered at home by about 30 points.

Ever since 2010 I've been rooting for the NFC East to take its turn to vomit up a 7-9 champion.

This season I am a-quiver with antici

Tony Khans wrestling promotion = some Cody Rhodes, some Dark Order.

Tony Khans football promotion (this season) = Nick Jackson joining the Dark Order, only to be benched for a returning from injury Barry Horowitz.

Edit - The Jags are basically the Dark Order, a murder cult you can never escape

Your updated NFL Draft order (since Sunday Night and Monday Night won't affect anything at the top of the board).

  3. Washington (3-9, .492)
  4. Miami Dolphins (3-9, .500)
  5. Atlanta Falcons (3-9, .563)
  6. Detroit Lions (3-8-1, .487)
  7. Arizona Cardinals (3-8-1, .545)
  8. Jacksonville Jaguars (4-8, .474)
  9. New York Jets (4-8, .489)
  10. Los Angeles Chargers (4-8, .508)
  11. Denver Broncos (4-8, .529)
  12. Philadelphia Eagles (5-7, .458)
  13. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-7, .500)

Kyle Allen is comically bad

A lot of people owe Cam Newton an apology.  I honestly don't know what he did to everybody, but people were dancing on his grave as soon as Kyle Allen didn't spontaneously combust on his first snap.

Jags have announced they are going back to Gardner Minshew as starting QB

This is the remaining ugliness of Nick Foles' deal

- $15.1 million in guaranteed base salary for 2020
- a $5 million roster bonus that triggers in March of 2020 for 2021
- $12.5 million in dead money on their cap in 2021

What's even better:

Quote

According to gaming industry sources, Caesars contacted the Nevada Gaming Control Board on Nov. 10, and subsequently the NFL, shortly after discovering Shaw had placed the wager.

Shaw was open about his line of work when filling out his application for a betting account with Caesars, even listing "professional football player" as his occupation, the sources said.
