I didn't post anything about last Sunday because I was watching a movie with the bf (Motherless Brooklyn - which was aight...).   So here are my thoughts in full:

Thank you, I will not be taking any questions.

Shoulda flexed Texans / Ravens, but Texans play thursday against the Colts so it makes sense.  Marquee matchup between two MVP candidates.  Let's see how Bill O'Brien fucks this up.

The Texans are the Sunday night game Week 13 (against the Pats) so the league doesn't want teams playing back to back Sunday night games. (Besides the obvious a Thursday game will never be moved outside extreme weather related issues)

Jets owner Christopher Johnson has stated "Adam [Gase] has the confidence of the team... He has my trust.  He's a good man.  He's a good coach."

Gase will return in 2020.   ?

The NFL is very WWE like in that even when trying to do PR stunts they fuck it up

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/28074313/colin-kaepernick-know-attend-workout-ahead

Quote

After initially agreeing to provide the list of personnel executives and coaches who would attend Colin Kaepernick's workout Saturday to the quarterback's representatives, the NFL has reversed course and says it will not, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

--------------

Several high-level NFL executives reached out as a courtesy to Kaepernick's representatives to say they couldn't attend and were caught off-guard and confused by the purpose of the NFL scheduling the workout.

---------------

Sources previously told ESPN that the league office also said none of the 32 teams had been made aware of the workout before the memo was sent. When Kaepernick's representatives asked whether a team or teams had asked for the workout, the NFL league office said, "We can't tell you that," the reps explained.

Because of the mystery around the workout and because none of the teams had been informed before Tuesday, Kaepernick's representatives began to question the legitimacy of the workout and the process and wonder whether it was a public-relations stunt by the league, sources previously told ESPN. The representatives asked the league office for a list of personnel executives and coaches who would be attending the workout because GMs and head coaches make personnel decisions, particularly given how important the quarterback position is.

As things stand now, the NFL has decided not to provide that list.

The Kaepernick workout remained a hot topic Wednesday across the league.

Steelers lose their top running back and receiver in the 1st quarter and they are only down by a TD.  On offense this is the starting lineup for the 2nd preseason game.   This is an extremely Browns performance

Well so much for that thanks to an awful pass from Rudolph

This should be a shutout, but the Browns gave up a touchdown on a drive where they committed 4 penalties, and had a player ejected.

Garrett tried to hit Rudolph in the fucking head with his helmet.  Luckily he grazed him. A full shot would have knocked him out.   But Pouncey didn't miss with those kicks to his head.   No way either one of them is playing the rest of the season

so Garret waistlocked Rudolph and took him to the turf well after the ball was out and didn't let go.  so Rudolph, realizing this guy was fucking with him, went for his helmet.  so Garret went for Rudolph's helmet, got it, and bludgeoned him with it.  So Pouncey through multiple punches and kicked Garret in the head while a teammate held him down.  and 65 ran in and knocked Rudolph down during the fracas.

Pouncey's gotta get a game.  Garrett's got to get several, probably ought to get the season.  Particularly since ejection from a game that's only got 8 seconds left is less than Nothing as far as a punishment (This is why the NHL has automatic suspension rules to keep guys from fighting for free in garbage time, and the NFL would do well to borrow)

Haynesworth stomped that dude's bare head one time and only got 5.  And think of the heat if both these guys are around for the rematch in 17 days. What an angle! Somehow I feel like the Very Concerned About Player Safety NFL will be letting both these guys play.

And they'll clutch their pearls when another fight breaks out in that game.

Yeah saw another replay and definitely connected.  He is done for this year.  I mean when Baker Mayfield on your own team says you are screwed then you are really screwed.

This is also probably Pouncey's 2nd or 3rd strike so he is probably done too

Like someone mentioned on Twitter, he should be thankful that James Harrison isn't on this team or Garrett would have gotten more than kicked in the face.  Would have needed the cops to save his ass
