Brooklyn being Knicks lite

Quote

David Levy is out as the CEO of the Brooklyn Nets less than two months after being hired by new team owner Joe Tsai.

The Nets announced Tuesday that Levy, a former president at Turner Broadcasting, and the organization "mutually agreed to part ways."

Oliver Weisberg has been named interim CEO.

"As we enter an exciting next chapter of our organization, it's important that ownership and management are completely aligned on our go forward plan," Weisberg said in a statement. "We are proud of the culture of the Brooklyn Nets under the leadership of General Manager Sean Marks and Head Coach Kenny Atkinson, and we look forward to continue bringing the best experience to our fans."

Levy was hired by the Nets on Sept. 18, the same day Tsai completed his purchase of the franchise and Barclays Center.

Levy worked closely with the NBA while at Turner and was tasked with overseeing all business, revenue, strategy and operations for the Nets.

Harden’s FTA is ridiculous. Wilt had only one season above what Harden is averaging this year.  It will be entertaining when the playoffs start and that goes down substantially and the whining begins.

You should see Karl Malone's FTA.  That's a dude that just straight ran over you to go to the free throw line.  Kinda like Giannis.  Actually, Giannis's FTA are over 11 a game too.  All he does is travel and shoot free throws.  And air ball free throws, too.

Harden wouldn't go to the line so much if idiot defenders didn't take the bait and hack his arm when he holds the ball out on his drives to the basket.

Dude, I don't want to put you back on ignore. We get it. He puts up great numbers. That's his thing. But the way the team is set up is not a successful formula hence why he has a whopping 0 finals appearances as the top dog. They then traded a guy that can play within a system for another guy who is like Harden. Good luck. Regular season is nothing for Harden and the Rockets at this stage. Start dropping stat lines when he is winning in the finals.

Yeah, Harden has been great this year, but having seen him wear down at the end of the past several seasons doesn't make me think that him having the same usage rate at a much higher pace is going to work out great for the Rockets in the long term.

Which doesn't even get into the problem of Harden being on the wrong side of 30 and still not taking good care of his body.  There's a real possibility that once the athleticism starts to go and he can't get to his spots on the floor at will that his game is going to age like milk.

Every time I see Harden or his fans mock other players for load management/dismiss needing load management, I want to literally scream "maybe he wouldn't shit the bed in the playoffs every year if he took some time off"
