Raw is Sound & Fury, Signifying Nothing - 10/7/2019

Recommended Posts

Well, at least Vince knew to keep Seth the hell off this show.

And oh boy, that main event confrontation was....  Yeah...

Shane McMahon has some free time now, maybe he can teach Tyson Fury how to throw a punch.

Lol at the treatment last night’s main event got on this show.

Bray needs to change the name of his finish to The Mandela Effect

I want a wall of these photos eventually looking like the victims of Asuka's crime spree.  The women's tag division is officially now the best thing going in this dumb compnay especially if they keep Becky/Charlotte somewhat involved and make the growing list of victims vs. Kabuki Warriors the mains story going forward.

I get why they didn't have him on the show tonight. But it's a damning indication that Rollins isn't built to handle the pressures of being a top star.

That Braun-Fury brawl was barely average.

Last Woman Standing opener and Asuka/Kairi talking trash in Japanese were the best parts of the show. Didn't expect much with the draft coming up, but it was still really dull.

LOL at these fuckers not even mentioning the main event until there was like 15 minutes left in the show.

I was watching the game but I saw enough to place this very high on the list on worst RAWs of the year.

That said I loved Asuka and Kairi cutting a hilarious promo on the other women.  They should have been allowed to do this from the beginning.

Lacey/Nattie kind of dragged, but was generally decent fun. I just wish Lacey won.

Was neat seeing Kabuki Warriors win the battle of champions. It won't happen, but I would love to see Kairi and Asuka go after Becky and Charlotte's titles.

That Braun/Fury brawl was amazingly average and dragged. Not sure why they gave so much time to something Fry wasn't ready to go all in on. That didn't needed more than 3-5 minutes.

Smart of them to not really try and follow up last night's embarrassing main event.

Isn't that philosophy literally how you make money?

I guess. I'm not the best person to consult for financial advice. Useless trivia or how to blow money (pun intended), then I'm your guy.

Natalya/Lacey was a pretty great blowoff to their feud, fun brawl. Ziggler & Roode vs. the Vikings was good stuff as well. Solid start to the show then a whole lot of nothing happened. Womens tag was solid, great victory for Asuka & Kairi.

I'd been thinking of the draft like the Shakeup, just random moves. But they've made it sound like, since there's no GMs, the channels are picking their rosters as Fox vs Usa so that's a little weird.

They shouldn't have acknowledged Rollins/Bray at all. I would keep Bray off TV to recharge and pop up in a month with a Firefly Funhouse murdering puppet devil Vince.

Punches aside, Fury looked good in there. Asuka winning again with the mist was cool. Women bossed the show. Other than that it was a garbage shoot. Roll on Wednesday.

Would you?

What the fuck did you expect, man? Vince appearing at the start of the show like he's about to tell the audience about "shades of grey" ,but instead apologizing for a main event that ruined what was a pretty good show with two awesome matches?😀

Seriously, HITC should be watched backwards. Then Wyatt/ Rollins would have been like the Chamber of Horrors. And the best two matches would have ended the show. HITC was like the Memento of cards.

Can we really lay this all this on Vince's feet? What about Paul Heyman? He's the Executive Director of Raw. You can't tell me he had no involvement in all of this.

This could also be titled Raw is Action Zone because there was a dearth of star-power -no Reigns, no Rollins, no Fiend, no New Day, no Bryan, no Sasha, no Bayley, no Owens, no Lesnar- and a lot of guys whom even the announcers seemed shocked to see on the show (Lucha House Party? The Singhs? Apollo?).  I have a feeling Smackdown is about to get the mother of all revenges for the years of getting shafted in the draft.  I wonder if that's why they tapped Heyman to run Raw, knowing that they were going to be running a very lean, young Raw roster and sending most of the stars to Smackdown?

I dunno, I almost half expected a clumsy worked shoot promo like Roman Reigns the night after he lost to Brock Lesnar talking about how Vince wouldn't even look him in the eye day of WrestleMania almost like Lesnar went off book the planned finish and he got "screwed."

But now with an actual wrestling promotion on primetime on another major cable network that outdrew NXT on Wednesday night things are different I guess.

I haven’t been watching Raw or WWE in general but I’ve been hearing about a storyline trend of wrestlers’ wives cheating on them with black wrestlers and I have to wonder is Linda fucking Herman Cain or something and Vince is commiserating his misery to us through these weird ass storylines?

Is Linda getting the 999 deal in the White House and Vince is using his own humiliation as a way to punish dudes who want out? I’m asking because the phrase beta cuck was uttered by the resident jackass Graves on TV to describe the situation. It’s just a weird thing to have consistently shown on your billion dollar show.

Next you will have Big E with Becky Lynch or some shit. I’m sure that would be a way to revive his old catchphrase, “give me five” or some variation.

opinion is still divided over whether it's Vince or Heyman who actually can't get enough of this shit, so the reasons for Cuckamania running wild on RAW remain unclear.
