Finally saw the R-Truth: 24. That was wonderful. Didn't really have any idea of Truth's history before WWF so it was nice to see for the first half alone.

Does Naylor pop up at all in the FCW doc?

If he did it was only in picture or video form that you have to look for.  He would have been a good person to talk about FCW.  Especially concerning Dusty

On that subject...

I think Big E tweeted something to Naylor that he should do a documentary about FCW because he remembers more about it then most of the wrestlers actually in it.  And he did do one of those Highspots shoots with Curt Hawkins I think on developmental.  That was the infamous one where Matt Sydal got REAL pissy with him and made it so uncomfortable

Heath was great in that doc. Strikes me as the kind of guy that can have a job in the office for as long as he wants one after he hangs em up

Hall of Famer?

It started with this

Big E mentions Naylor doing his own doc in the comments

So I don't know how long this "season"? of Ruthless Aggression lasts but apparently it will continue in the fall

it is going to be very interesting how they explain the Money in the Bank one given that Chris Jericho invented the idea.  I guess use old footage

When they first announced Ruthless Aggression, they announced "the first five episodes" so I'm guessing it'll be 5 at a time chunks.

I wonder if they'll get into the original idea for the MITB being RVD getting a wish and using it to create One Night Stand. Hollywood Dream Match or whatever it was supposed to be called.

They have announced that the Broken Skull Session with Bret Hart will debut next week after RAW (to go along with the 3:16 theme for that day)

I'd never heard of this. Source?

It's from Jericho's 2012 book. The original idea he and Gewirtz came up with was the winner of this match could get anything they want - and RVD would win, and bring back ECW (not clear whether it was a one time show or as a brand).

Quote

"The concept of the match was that the winner would get his dream of anything he wanted fulfilled, which in turn would lead to RVD winning and bringing back ECW. He told me that Vince thought the Hollywood Dream match was a stupid prize for the winner and wanted something else to be at stake. We kibitzed for a few minutes until I suggested, 'Why don't we make the match for a contract that guarantees a title shot the next night on Raw? Brian took it one step further and proposed that the contract would be valid for one whole year and could be used at any time. Vince approved with his sole modification being that the contract had to be in a briefcase, and the Money in the Bank match was born."

It only came to be because Jericho wasn't interested in what WWE had planned for him (and guys he liked) at WrestleMania 21. Look at the guys involved in that match and it's more or less just people Jericho really liked.

On this week's episode of Ruthless Aggression, Matt Hardy is listed as "WWE Legend"

Pretty sure ep he was on it still said Superstar

So they will never do a Smackdown Six episode?

Really hard to do that without mentioning Benoit.

This is just my opinion of course but I believe in the recent NFL 100 series they mentioned O.J. Simpson and what a great player he was and I didn't see much backlash to it,  I feel enough time has passed where WWE can mention the guy and the historical aspects without ruffling any feathers.
