ALL OUT PPV - August 31, 2019

They did have Darby go to a time limit draw with Cody on their second show. He'll be okay. His craziness wins over the doubters and then you start putting him in there with big boys to play underdog against.

So yeah, big negatives were the show structure and the Spears stuff. What's the point of him from here on out? And it wouldn't be surprising to see Tully exit on that note, which would be the real tragedy of it all.

Yeah, my hope is that he ditches Spears and latches on to Mjeff for the turn and post-turn run. Mjeff will need heaters, a stable perhaps, to insulate him from having to pay dues every time he opens his mouth. It's too bad the Revival aren't free agents until after Mania.

It just needed a concession stand, some mustard, ketchup and Sherri...

Speaking of that 3 way, I'm kinda bummed they put Darby into that. He's so much better and above solely doing hardcore matches. I'm hoping they actually let him have straight up regular matches once they get on TV and they keep him away from Joey Janela and Jimmy Havoc.

I thought the same thing. Hopefully when Moxley is freed up from Omega, they work a TV program with him, and Darby. Those guys had a very good match on the indies a few of months ago.

Back to the Barrel’s. Those were some of the best looking gimmicked props I’ve seen in some time. They really added to the silliness of the match after they cartoonishly exploded like if ACME TNT had been strapped to it.

No Kylie Rae in the Women's Battle Royale. There are rumors that she is done with wrestling  but nothing concrete from any official sources.

Sad, if true. Never met her, but her and I have a mutual friend, and by all accounts,  she really is as genuinely nice as her character. And she's a hell of a talent. You could see from her very first match that she was damn good.

I don’t necessarily believe the structure/pacing of the show hurt the Best Friends tag, or the women’s singles match. It was more like the Best Friends shouldn’t be in that spot. They don’t have the momentum that say a Boy & His Dinosaur, or Private Party have. Also the women’s match while it did have bigger stakes, it needed more of a story to tell. Just felt like Riho rag doll action for the most part.

This was pretty fun, though that Cody/Spears match was a big old nonsensical stinker. After Triplemania I had incredibly low hopes for another Lucha Bros/Bucks tag but that shit was awesome, as was the Shida/Riho match (despite the placement) and the 3 way, which was also nonsensical but definitely not a stinker.

A really great night of introductions, with our dear Orange, [LAX], and perhaps the one that made me the happiest in the moment, tho in retrospect who knows if she's gonna be here permanently, Mercedes Martinez.

Cody/Spears was fine for what it was. I was expecting MJF to turn here, but it's going to be great when it finally happens. Maybe it happens when Cody has a shot at Jericho.

I enjoyed the hell out of Havoc/Janela/Allin. They all needed a win, but I'm glad Jimmy Havoc got it. I feel like he needed it the most. I got a kick out of Janela pulling the tennis racket out and throwing it away in disgust. Jim Cornette was going to bitch about the match with or without that, so might as well take another jab at him.

I hope Mercedes Martinez is sticking around for good. She deserves a shot with a major promotion after getting passed over twice by the 'E. I also liked Mrs. Darby Allin, Priscilla Kelly being in the match. It makes sense to utilize her as well as Darby. Ultimately, I'd like to see a trio of Darby, Havoc, and Priscilla.

Orange Cassidy and Formerly Known As LAX and EYFBO showing up were great surprises. The tag division is stacked, so I can't wait for the tag tourney. The Dark Order getting the first round bye was the right call. Only heels should get a tournament bye.

The only real gaffe I noticed was Jimmy Havoc's name graphic going up when Darby Allin came out.

I'm sure I'll get labeled by some as an AEW fanboy, just like I was an ROHbot, but I thought All Out was a homerun. I don't think it ever dragged. I like Goldenboy with JR and Excalibur. That ppv was 100% worth my money.

I was wondering why she wasn't in the battle royal. I really hope she isn't done with wrestling. I was thinking she was going to come out in the Joker spot.

They ran this in MLW for a bit before Gabe began pulling the EVOLVE guys. It was fun while it lasted, but unfortunately Havoc doesn't bring much to the table outside of the staple gun and paper cuts.

This is a great signing for them. They maybe the best tag team they've signed. I was hoping they'd sign with NXT so I could see them live regularly, but it's cool they're going somewhere they will have a little more liberty creatively at.

Yeah, I remember Priscilla, Darby, and Havoc being together in MLW. They cut a promo together that I really liked and posted on here a while ago.

The Shadow was/is CM Punk.

The Nice Guy knows...

Tully managing MJF would be the best thing ever.

I thought it was so obvious that was what would be happening tonight. Plus with MJF causing Earl to miss all of Tully's interference. Hell, I think Shawn and Tully signaled MJF a few times too. I just want to see the glorious return of Tully Blanchard Enterprises. If this is a long burn, then so be it. Cody should ask Dustin how trusting Arn Anderson works out.

Overall I thought it was a really good show. Their production timing needs a shit load of work though. They missed so many things in the ring because of poor camera shots. I wasn't happy Nyla Rose won the battle royal. But Riho winning her match should set up a great story of can this tiny lil woman climb a literal mountain. Luchasaurus is gonna be such a huge star. I did laugh at JR constantly calling Jungle Boy "Jungle Jack". Jungle Jack sounds like a better name so hopefully it sticks.

Omega vs. Pac was great. I was honestly surprised Pac won and won in the way he did to boot.

The Crackerbarrel thing was hilarious. Darby Allen is gonna die someday doing that coffin drop.

The Ladder Match was insanity. I played that kind of match on one of the Smackdown games. Just keep killing each other till someone can't stand up from one too many piledrivers through a table.

Jericho/Page was as good as I thought it would be. Glad Jericho won.

Hopefully Cody won't be like Jeff Jarrett and book himself to win the title in a few months.

The post-game show was a mess. Sound issues with Hangman's couple lines. Alex Marvez trying to justify a paycheck by talking over Jericho's promo.

The Casino battle royal was a mess as well. This gimmick has been sloppy as hell both times. By entering 5 people at a time and Justin Roberts being sloppy, you kill the entrance pop. And if you're gonna borrow a TNA talent, aim higher than Tenille Dashwood. That being said, I hope some of the women like Martinez. Big Swole,  and Savoy stay.

During the show I only caught Omega-v-Pac and Jericho-v-Page. Both of them were good.

I really don't think Cody will. I like that it hasn't been the Elite winning all of their matches so far. I think Cody goes after Jericho, which is when MJF will turn, thus tying Cody up with MJF for hopefully a long while.

He’s done it in the past, but this is the most he’s done it in one night. I wonder if that is him trying to will it into being official because of his past in creative, and he seems to be a mark for Jungle Boy’s potential.

When he eventually drops the “Boy” part of his name, “Jungle” Jack Perry would be a better mature name for him.

I don't know how Nick avoided being crippled. The most disgusting and unsafe spot of the night.

Loved the show. I watched it with another wrestling fan and two lapsed wrestling fans. In order, their favorite 3 matches were the tag ladder match, Kenny vs PAC, and Cody vs Spears.

Only thing I didn't like was the Dark Order. It's just not that good.

Jungle Jack was one of the greatest tag teams of all time

Fuck

People on *THIS* site don't know that

Didn't they already sign Aja Kong or have her have a match one of their shows previously?

They are a Bison Kimura away of having a killer women's tag team on their roster.
