#500 is "Category 5" Corey Storm who I've seen at shows a few times. Good for him.

P.S. Obligatory "kayfabe list (except for that random Malenko year)" comment.

That is an incredible name!

You ever meet someone who's name sounds like it should be a Wrestling move name? Because I know someone called Storm Nelson.

This was one of those years you couldn't say any one surefire number 1 kayfabe wise. It was similar to the random Malenko year, where if you split it from July-June, no one really had a good kayfabe year. There were no dominant World Champs in any promotion that's reasonable, all the World Titles were spread out over a few people...even with match quality, no man really OWNED July-June this year (you could argue Becky Lynch, but she's a lead-pipe cinch to be #1 in the women's list.)

With that in mind...yeah, whatever. Rollins at 1 is the same as why he's at the top- he's not the best, but he'll do.

Randy Orton is looking at this list like “Really..... I’m behind that guy?!”

In kayfabe, what is the highest profile thing Orton did in this eligibility period? Beat Jeff Hardy? Lose to AJ Styles?

I'm more surprised they didn't use the ROH belt as justification to rocket Taven up the rankings. Because this thing is silly.

Taven is too high as it is.

I know we all like knocking the guy. But when you consider how high Dalton Castle was ranked when he was ROH champ (I love the guy, but let's be real), 37 is pretty low for Raven.

What about me? What about Raven? I mean Taven!

This list is a lot more interesting and bold (but not necessarily defendable) than some of the Top 10 lists that I saw in the self named thread on this here BBS nowadays.

There was a year in the 90s where the two fastest sprinters in the state were named Bobby Cruise and Chad Bullet.  Not quite wrestling, but those are great names for sprinters.

An online friend of mine has a friend with the shoot name Kinzua Wolfslayer. Top that. I worked with a guy with the last name Running Bear once.
