At a guess, Drew over Miz, Ricochet beats Corbin by surprise roll up and gets beaten down afterwards. Cedric over Sami, Joe over Cesaro. Drew over Ricochet, Cedric over Joe, Drew over Cedric again.

Owens beats Elias by chicanery backfire, Ali and Andrade go to a draw, Buddy beats Apollo and then Gable. Owens beats Buddy. Owens gets screwed against Drew?

Stone Cold is on Hot Ones this week. I like retired Steve Austin. He said he wasn't great with spicy food, but then breezed through "Da Bomb" like it was nothing. He came off way better than Jericho did.

Also, I watched his USA show after RAW; is there already a thread where this is being discussed? Its Stone Cold in 4-wheelers with comedians (and athletes, wrestlers, and whoever else his producer casts on the show), like the Seinfeld getting coffee show. The first 10 minutes were great, Austin and Rob Riggle just talking, felt organic (like a podcast). But then it has to put its reality show stink on the show and shoehorn in this fried chicken guy, and shoot guns. It just felt a bit forced. That show could probably lose a producer or three and just let the interview breathe.

Thanks for the reminder, a buddy of mine introduced me to Hot Ones but I haven't seen one in awhile. Funny story, Gordon Ramsey did one and totally ate shit/wimped out doing it... then guess what my dad found to buy the family for Xmas? A six pack of Gordon Ramsey hot sauce bottles. And now I see that guy basically stealing the Tony Bourdain position of going to exotic places and eating things for a show. What a poseur.

EDIT: Steve seriously held his own in that one! He also had some great stories though the rapport with the host was a little off (which seemed helped when he brought up wrestling terminology). The Bossman story I've probably heard before but it's great to hear again within the context.

Weightlifting is pretty inexpensive, after the initial outlay. And if you stick with it for long enough, you can go on the internet and make outlandish claims about the size of your forearms (which turn out to be true!).

Magic the Gathering...

Didn’t I just say “for people with money?”

(says the guy with a whole bunch of boxes of cards he got from his cousin, with enough cards to ply Commander with)

Regarding Hot Ones, I'm a big fan and have seen them all. Stone Cold came into the final 3 starting with Da Bomb with a strategy. Everyone knows Da Bomb is the worst one, for heat and for flavor. Everyone says the actual flavor of that one is just horrible. What Stone Cold did was he split his flapper in half and the bite he took didn't have a lot of skin. It was mostly meat.

He was very crafty and I applaud him for his strategy.

BTW, I think it was the Trevor Noah episode that was the most impressive. He went through every wing without breaking a sweat and without a sip of anything. At least I think it was that episode.

Shit, try having a hobby with kids.

Luckily, both of my kids love watching wrestling with me.  I have to drag my ass to the gym at 5am to have a hobby.  I started doing powerlifting programs a few months ago and have fallen in love with it.

Other hobbies are good.  Getting back into collecting Transformers action figures, myself.  Some pretty cool ones out these days.

My hobbies outside wrestling: Batman memorabilia, reading comic books, comic book movies and Funko POP!

EDIT: Watching MMA.

The two things that killed my wrestling watching for years - playing in bands and having two young kids. Now the kids are teens and I don't play out, so there's more wrestling but I also play lotsa PS4. Got a one-year-old who is disabled so he takes up a lot of time too.

Hey, I can get behind mentioning hobbies outside wrestling.

Aside from wrestling I check out some baseball, Marvel movies and DC shows, and play PS4 or Switch.  I have been meaning to take up something else but it's hard to find anything of interest.  And as it is I'm so knee-deep in the wrestling bubble that with the wide variety I find it hard to burn out.  At most I'll get wrestling fatigue after watching all of G1 or a lot of the WM Weekend shows.  But all in all I'm plenty okay with watching every day if possible.

My main thing outside of wrestling stuff is stand-up comedy shows, both attending and performing. Did my first open-mic about thirteen years ago; have been able to get paid gigs quite a few times since then. Don't know if it'll turn into anything beyond a hobby, but it's been fun. You can search my full name on YouTube for a few clips (Patrick Brandmeyer).
