Jiji Posted September 2, 2019 Posted September 2, 2019 Addition by subtraction for Arsenal. He's been terrible so far this year from what I've seen.
cubbymark Posted September 3, 2019 Posted September 3, 2019 Still amazed Xhaka wasn't sent off for that egregious tackle on Son in the NLD. Javier Hernandez avoids the MLS a little longer and ends up in Sevilla.
odessasteps Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 (edited) Javy Gracia wins the sack race in England. (Of course, autocorrect changes it to Garcia ) Edited September 7, 2019 by odessasteps
Dolfan in NYC Posted September 10, 2019 Author Posted September 10, 2019 North Ireland (NIR) is playing Germany (GER) in a friendly. The hashtag is.... Unfortunate.
AxB Posted September 10, 2019 Posted September 10, 2019 Gurning is a traditional English sport of face pulling. They're just spelling it funny.

At this point I'm convinced LaLiga is just having clubs sign Mexican players so they can continue to gain an international Mexican following... Good chance he won't be a regular starter, neither will Herrera at Atleti or Lainez (who is the youngest of the trio) is struggling to become a regular starter with Betis.
The Natural Posted September 14, 2019 Posted September 14, 2019 Norwich City 2 Manchester City 0 30 minutes played. @Pete's pissed.

Jiji Posted September 14, 2019 Posted September 14, 2019 Exciting match but the City CBs had a rough outing.
Pete Posted September 14, 2019 Posted September 14, 2019 And Pep decided against a replacement for Kompany because...? 1
AxB Posted September 15, 2019 Posted September 15, 2019 Arsenal 2-2 Watford. And British Twitter is full of Gooners begging for Mourinho. [Gif of someone laughing] 1
odessasteps Posted September 15, 2019 Posted September 15, 2019 Guy goes on TV in Italy and says only way to stop Lukaku is with bananas. Host apologizes and station manager comes on later to apologize and says guy will never be on the station again.

The Italian fans wrote an open letter to Lukaku to tell him that whilst in other countries the monkey noises are racist, in Italy it's just the fans way of trying to put players off. Except they never do it to put white players off, because... Changing the subject, @odessasteps any thoughts on the current FA Women's Super League table?
odessasteps Posted September 16, 2019 Posted September 16, 2019 It’s a nice snapshot after 2 games. due to other things, have not watched any WSL yet. I presume that new FA app is region free. Haven’t tried it yet.
Death From Above Posted September 16, 2019 Posted September 16, 2019 The biggest problem with Italy is that it's full of Italians.
Death From Above Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 I mean, sure, but it doesn't have a fucking blue and pink semi on it.
Jiji Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 With the keeper behind the wheel, ffs. So money!
Pete Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 Shout out to FC St Pauli! First home win over Hamburg in 59 years. 1
odessasteps Posted September 19, 2019 Posted September 19, 2019 R1 of the Champions League was at least mildly unpredictable. Poor Atalanta.

He's been getting a lot of hype due to his fantastic performances with the U21 Spanish national team. I think he ends up at a bigger Spanish club in January. Valencia who's currently in shambles due to the entire Marcelino sacking and the entire Peter Lim chaos beat Chelsea which was quite an upset. Inter barely drew with Slavia Praha at the San Siro... Dortmund should've beaten Barça, but Reus couldn't finish his chances and MAtS was massive and saved Barça himself. MAtS was off the line on the PK, so that should've been taken again, yet it was ignored and VAR didn't even call for a retake. Napoli beat Liverpool with Callejón fooling the refs. and VAR with a dive in the box which lead to a PK and then a VVD error that lead to a goal from Llorente who is still a quality back up striker. Olympiacos somehow managed to mount a 2-0 comeback and get a draw against Spurs. PSG without Neymar, Mbappe and Cavani still managed to trash Madrid. Read somewhere Hazard was subbed out due to a potential injury which would be a huge blow to Madrid. Atleti mounted a late comeback and drew 2-2 against Juve. Fun game, but a somewhat underwhelming performance from both sides.
