*Taped for Xplosion: Rohit Raju (w/ The Great Gama) def. Shawn Donovan after a diving double stomp

Impact Wrestling - Airing June 14, 2019 from New York City, New York

*The North (Ethan Page & Josh Alexander) def. Rob Van Dam & Sabu via pinfall on Sabu after Moose interfered. After the match, Tommy Dreamer ran out to attack Moose. They set up for RVD to hit the Van Terminator but Moose escaped.

*Havok (w/ Father James Mitchell & Su Yung) def. Masha Slamovitch in a squash after a tombstone. After the match, Mitchell cut a promo saying he had to bring out Havok, his secret weapon, to get Su Yung back after Rosemary put her hands on him. Mitchell declared that he will pay Havok back by making sure she becomes the next knockouts champion and Rosemary's carcass will be the launching pad for that.

*Raj Singh (w/ The Great Gama & Rohit Raju) def. Cody Deaner (w/ Cousin Jake) after Rohit interfered while Gama distracted the ref.

*Madison Rayne def. Jordynne Grace after a distraction from Kiera Hogan, who was on commentary and now has blue hair.

*Killer Kross def. The Sandman via Krossjacket Choke submission. After the match, Eddie Edwards ran out and clotheslined Kross over the top rope.

*Michael Elgin def. Willie Mack with the Elgin Bomb. After the match, Elgin looked to attack further but Rich Swann came in to stop him. Johnny Impact then ran out to take out Swann. Elgin and Johnny shook hands but then Elgin turned and laid him out as well. Elgin then hit Mack with another Elgin Bomb on the outside.

Opening match was probably the best possible Sabu & RVD tag match 2019 can host. The Jessica Havok (or possibly just Havoc, going by the graphic) squash was longer than it had to be, but that was to establish her as a sadistic punisher, so good. Raj vs Cody, that was a match. Pretty much the lesser workers of their respective teams, but Cody has great babyface charisma. Like a super country Dusty/ Hogan hybrid.

Madison is tough as nails for taking that gnarly bump to the floor and carrying on. She looked proper shaken up by it. Match was hurt by the commentary not actually discussing the match in favour of retreading that Keira is a heel now. She seemed to run out of material pretty quickly there, but rather than just talk about the match in the ring they kept going back to her personality transplant.

Killer Kross just demolished Sandman. Having Sabu, RVD & Dreamer still pushed as top guys establishes the ex-ECW people as still tough, so Sandman going down so fast is a big feather in Kross' cap. Plus he was probably wasted, and is wearing the weight of the years a lot heavier than his peers do. Understandably so, but still.

Fallah Bahh got skinny! The Smokeshow segment, it was OK. Scarlett is a lot better at this character work type stuff than Taya is, but she's spent most of her career not doing promos (or not in English anyway) so it makes sense that might be a weakness.

Elgin vs Mack. Strong strong guys. Shoulderblock city! Nasty apron to floor bump on the baseball slide. Elgin's Dropkick has great height for such a thick stumpy guy. The Superplex was a huge one too. Decent match, but not a patch on the great Elgin vs Swann match from last month. Elgin vs Cage might be a good main event, when it happens.

Thought this was a pretty great episode that went by quick with lots happening and feuds/angles progressing. Opening tag was a lot of fun, Sabu was on fire for awhile there. Havok being back is a solid addition and I love the trio of her and Su with Mitchell. Desi Hit Squad vs The Deaners has been a pretty entertaining low card tag feud. Great win for Madison Rayne who looked excellent here as she has this whole return run, glad to see her kept strong and in the mix. Nice to see Sandman for a couple minutes. Another very good main event which has been the case for the last several. Elgin's had all pretty awesome matches so far. Dig the overall look/atmosphere of the setup for the NY shows here.

TNA on Twitch is truly the gift that keeps on giving.  Between this and Don Callis completely going off on Twitch about Melissa Santos video quality this was not a great night production wise.   Shame because wrestling wise they are still in really good shape

Edit:  Thought it on on Pursuit but it did look good on the TV.    But yeah twitch has been a disaster for Impact
