MLB 2019 - JUNE

Speaking of International games - MLB has decided to not play the opener in Asia next year (2020)

Manfred seemed intentionally vague about the decision making it seem like the big reason was because MLB "has a small international staff"

What year is it? I just turned to FOX, and they are airing an old episode of Rock N’ Jock Softball.

Rock N' Jock had better announcers.

I wouldn't mind if it were 1993-1995 and The State came on afterwards.

If the purpose was to put over baseball in the UK that was definitely the worst way of doing it.  Nobody should have to sit through most 4 hour 30 minute anything much baseball

Ironically while the Cricket World Cup is taking place in the UK.

Nobody has to sit through 4 1/2 hours of baseball. The crowd is free to leave when they want. Watching it at home, it certainly sounded like the crowd was into it, and yes I watched the entire game.

You realize that most games of top tier Cricket go 6 hours, right?

Fun little tidbit

Edwin Encarnación is the first player to play a regular season game in three different continents.

He also has played in MLB games held in Puerto Rico so he has hit every single location MLB has played in as far as anyone can tell
