clintthecrippler Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 I had never seen this before. An incredible "generations collide" wrestling moment as a 19-year-old Rey Mysterio Jr. taunts Jake "The Snake" Roberts after he lost a hair vs hair match to Konnan by throwing Jake's lost locks of hair onto his snake, Damien, at AAA Triplemania, May 1994, at El Toreo in Tijuana. 1
Ryan Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 The snake would then eat the young Rey, but he would escape with help from John Tenta. It's all in this book I never wrote that you can buy for $99.95. Send money. 3

sydneybrown Posted June 2, 2019 Posted June 2, 2019 In fairness, you should have included Blackman jumping off right after (and climbing down lower looking scared shitless.) It makes Shane's "I don't give a shit" bump look even more impressive.

cwoy2j Posted June 2, 2019 Posted June 2, 2019 Jericho said that the bottle was made of sugar glass and he was worried it would explode before he hit Punk. And that's exactly what happened. Also, he said that Vince wanted him to pour actual Jack Daniels down Punk's throat. Jericho was like, "he's an actual straight edge guy whose dad was an alcoholic. Let's just use tea instead." They kept insisting that if Jericho used tea then the people in the front row would know it was fake but Jericho stood his ground. He said something like, "you really want to pour alcohol into the mouth of this avowed straight edge guy just to kayfabe the 4 people in the front row who'd actually be close enough to tell the difference?" 4
Ryan Posted June 2, 2019 Posted June 2, 2019 They probably wanted to do it just to punish him for being straight edge.
The Natural Posted June 2, 2019 Author Posted June 2, 2019 What an angle/segment this was, the Festival of Friendship. 1
