If you have a Twitch Prime account (which you do if you have Amazon Prime, just need to make a Twitch and link your Prime), they're giving you the Penthouse of the Casino for free.   I gotta log in tonight and check it out.

I'm getting my ass kicked by jump motorcycles, most likely.

They're mostly harmless, as long as you stay out of  cars.  Which kind of negates half the game, unfortunately.  Adding flying things with lock on missiles are still the stupidest thing they've done in this game.

I've never figured out their rationale there.  The whole point of this game is to get stupid 12 year olds to spend their parents' money on shark cards, which they'll then use to buy nine duodecillion supercars.  So why the hell did they add a few weaponized vehicles that make all those cars pointless.  Seems like that would take away the motivation to buy more of those cars/shark cards.

Notes on what the Casino is going to offer.  Doesn't say HOW to get the chips, but it kinda looks like the chips won't be redeemable for GTA cash, but you never know.  Chips will be able to buy items from the Casino store.

I'm wondering of the Penthouse comes with a garage or is that seperate (and do I happen to own any garages nearby, I don't recall)

reinstalling GTA5 for the first time in ages because the casino has my interest piqued on revisiting GTAO.  Will probably start off by dicking around on a private server before jumping into a full murderbowl where I will die repeatedly and never be able to hold onto anything.

So, my GTA San Andreas replay. I've finished with everything in San Fierro except for Zero's missions, and the Car Sales place is generating money. Right now I'm doing the ranch missions for Toreno. Which means I've got Flight School coming up soon. What joy. Only exported two cars, but now I've got the two Girlfriends to where I can get killed or arrested without losing money or guns, so I can take a serious pop at Vigilante once I stock up on bullets. Firefighter and Paramedic (and Pimping) I completed ages ago.

So I'd remembered Flight School as being tortuously difficult. But it was actually really easy. And now I've made it to Las Venturas. Casino Heist here we come!

The Flight School isn't all that bad.  I actually did it on an iPhone using touch controls.

Toreno's mission "S.A.M." where you have to fly to/from the base super low to avoid the radar is one of the worst in the game, though.

For the Vigilante missions, you can steal a Rhino from the army bases and then store it at the airstrip's garage.  The highways around Las Venturas are an good place to spawn the missions and you can turn the cannon around and use it as a speed booster.

The casino is turning into a fun spot for all the wrong reasons.  Since everybody either spawns there or goes there to spin the wheel, there's just about always something going on there. I nearly managed to drop one of those stupid jet bikes in one of the rooftop hot tubs after I shot it's occupant off the back.

It's also a fun place to steal personal vehicles.  I usually manage to grab one whenever I exit the casino.

Flight school is roughly 1000000000000 times easier to get all gold than driving school, or at least it was for me.  That drive the length of San Fierro and back in under two minutes with no wrecks part is hideous, and it isn't even close to the worst part of driving school.

If you're not smart enough to not have "crew/team only" on your vehicle, you deserve to get it lifted.

But yeah, the Casino is great, even if it's on the other side of the map to my CEO office and Bunker, but that's why it's got a Helipad on the roof.

Why would you want all Gold? Bronze is a pass. I got Silver on that final one though. The run that would have been bronze was a fail when I braked early and stopped short of the finish (coming to a full stop at any time auto fails. You have to handbrake the turn and hope nothing hits you.

The Hunter helicopter is the reward for all Gold medals in GTA: SA.    Basically it makes Vigilante a fucking breeze and a half.   It's also super fast and can take down a fighter jet with ease.

There's basically no better air vehicle in the game.

Plus, swag.  (And I think it might be an Achievement, if you're a hunter for those.)

It's not an achievement. You're literally two mouse clicks away from a full list of every San Andreas PS4 trophy (the PS4profiles banner in my sig is a link to my profile on ps4profiles.com. Click on that, then click on GTA San Andreas, and there's all of them). Seems pretty lenient, considering how many 'Collect 100 of this item' things are in the game (the graffitti and the photos and oysters, etc), that there aren't trophies for. And you only have to pass one vehicle school, which I've already done.

I WON THE CAR ON THE BIG WHEEL!!!!!

Then went on a hot streak on the High Rollers Black Jack table and racked up 50k chips.

That made up for 2 failed Vehicle sourcing missions where I got hit by greifers RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY FUCKING WAREHOUSE!

Nope, super easy. Take off, head straight north, fly west over the ocean (or the cliffs) until you hit the northwest corner of the map, turn south and fly over the bay and then the beach... as you get near the drop, there's a stream inlet you can follow right to the corona. Then south until you're over the southwest corner of the map and retrace your steps (although I flew under the Golden Gate bridge and cut across country on the return leg). Ten minute time limit, I was wheels down on the runway with 4:06 left. Never picked up on radar at any point.

Those stupid flying motorcycles are annoying, even when they're not a real danger.  I played maybe 20 minutes of freemode last night.  First half was spent dealing with a Stand Your Ground, or whatever those motorcycle club events are called.  They were running about six deep, with a tank, a Terrobyte, and at least two of the stupid bikes.  I was just gonna go for the tank and leave, I screwed up the car bomb attempt and just blew myself up.  I spawned right near the capture zone, so I figured what the hell, I'll try it.  I shot two random dots, and actually had it about half captured when I got sniped with explosive ammo.   Guess I hadn't noticed one of the biker guys landed on a high roof.  I sniped him off the roof for his trouble.  Problem was, he just kept getting back on his bike and getting right back up there.  I sniped him off the roof three times, and he never managed to get a shot off at me after I started paying attention to him, but I just never had time to deal with anything but him.

Second half of the time was dealing with a butt hurt CEO guy.  I shot him once, after that he just kept bringing out the flying bikes.  Didn't matter how many times I blew the damn thing up, he kept dragging it out again.  He was terrible at them.  He kept flying right above the ground, so I just kept shooting rockets under him and killing him with splash damage.  Still annoyed that blowing up things like flying bikes and the tanks costs you money and gives bad sport points.

The Oppressor's are a real good argument for putting a cooldown on MC Presdents being able to spawn personal bikes.   My maxed out armored car goes down, I have to go get it.  I CEO Spawn the SUV with a mini-gun, gotta wait for the cool down.  I'm set as MC Pres, 5 menu clicks and I got my flying death machine back 10 seconds after respawn.

I just blow them up or avoid them.
