The question was times Bret faced Dusty, right? I added some bonus Japan stuff when I went looking for possible times that they had faced each other. To be fair, I never went looking for times that they faced each other in the WWF. You could potentially have some battle royals maybe?

Hey, here we go:

WWF @ Boston, MA - Boston Garden - November 11, 1990 (6,500; 5,000 paid)

Earthquake won a bunkhouse battle royal; other participants included: Roddy Piper, the Legion of Doom, Tugboat, Jim Duggan, Saba Simba, Dusty Rhodes, WWF Tag Team Champions Bret Hart & Jim Neidhart, the Black Demon, Dino Bravo, Demolition Ax & Crush, Tito Santana, the Warlord, Boris Zhukov, Ted Dibiase, Virgil, Greg Valentine, & the Honkytonk Man

There's your answer. It's possible?

I watched a Hashimoto vs The Barbarian match tonight? It was ok but just ok. Next up is Cam-Am Express vs the State Patrol. Since we're publicly shaming people or something. I've never seen Kenny Omega wrestle. I'm good.

Me neither. Will try to tonight however.

There's a big difference between only watching WWE and being a "total disciple of McMahonism," whatever that even means. I'm halfway through Double or Nothing. I don't post in the AEW threads and probably won't until the weekly show, because all I ever saw in those threads when I checked them was fantasy booking and people arguing with Thibs.

Yeah. Even if you only find the time to watch WWE programming, I don't think it's possible to like pro wrestling enough that, you know, you post on a third-party message board dedicated to pro wrestling and not be a little aware of the major things what's going on in other promotions. Maybe you can't wax poetic about midcard or lower-storylines, but I'd assume everyone here can at least tell you who the World Champ is of the major other promotions.

With Moxley, Jericho, (and eventually Omega) doing NJPW, I'm wondering if AEW's weekly show will borrow a talent and book Pillman Jr. vs. Liger to open their TV show.

AEW will put wording in their talent's contracts to work outside events like NJPW, but AEW is to be their priority. So expect Omega v Ibushi for the Dome.

I want to believe in a timeline where Bret didn't get injured by Goldberg and never had the stroke, Bret still was wrestling in the mid 2000's and he and Dusty ended up having a match in some random indy in Kentucky.

And it stole the fucking show.

Looks like AEW isn't the only place Ambrose is showing up:

While it’s not a full-time partnership yet. These “Independent” bookings are a nice apology to New Japan for leaving them high, and dry before the MSG show.

@Ace is right, Omega Vs. Ibushi at the Dome has to happen now.

Poor ROH... The partnership with New Japan isn’t dead yet. But like a disinterested romantic partner, they too are showing signs of wanting out of this relationship. The only thing I can see saving ROH is if the Sinclair Network actually develops sympathy for ROH’s current plight, and opens up the money bags for them.

So whats the deal with AEW and New Japan then?

More interested in whether this is the beginning of the end for Ring of Honor and New Japan.

Moxley working New Japan makes me think that maybe that hope he is working GCW shows is becoming slim to none.   Although he is working a NEW show against Pentagon so hopefully I am wrong

Posting this in two spots...because it's fucking awesome.

I can’t help but resurrect the old “why doesn’t WWE just let people cut promos” talking point. Moxley can do that, he could always do that, and WWE signed the dude largely because he COULD do that. So why didn’t they just tell the guy to cut a promo and get out of the way?

Just crazy.

That Moxley shirt is already PWTees best selling shirt of the whole month and 9th best selling individual shirt of the year.

Just to add a few thoughts:

I mostly watch WWE. I occasionally watch NJPW. I kept up with TNA/Impact in 2016 because of Broken Matt Hardy. I still follow their women's division and Killer Kross. I've peaked in on Joshi and MLW. I tried CMLL for a bit, but didn't get into it. Maybe I'll try again.

I never watched WCW or ECW.

I keep saying that I'm going to YT a bunch of older stuff, but haven't yet. Maybe one day.

I'm not liked around here. Not with as much as I get crapped on by certain people and their friends.

My being a fan is a bit weird, I think. I have a lot of gaps in what I know and would enjoy learning more from other fans. But I'm not friends with anyone away from the board. Frankly, several of you are mean and overly aggressive. Which wouldn't be so bad if the majority didn't seem to go along with the bad treatment.

I don't post here as much as I did. I come back because I've been here for a while. Old habits, blah blah blah. But for a group that claims community, that's not true. It's no fun to give opinions and have those opinions mocked because some of you absolutely have called me a dumb-fuck sheep for not hating WWE.

I'm not looking for sympathy. I have free will, I know when to sign out and not deal with the drama. But if you ever wonder why someone in a position like mine doesn't talk as much, there's often a good reason.

You know, this isn't the first time you've posted this, this whole thing about people literally calling you a dumb fuck sheep for not hating WWE, or that you're not liked around here, and how you get crapped on.

The first time you said this I wondered how legit your claims could be because I'm in here way too fucking much and I never saw anything like that. I know others haven't as well. I'm doubting this again because if people did act like that towards you or say you're a dumb fuck sheep then they'd probably be banned for it considering people get timeouts or bannings for less than what you've described.

And if it's people saying shit to you via PM and harassing you via PM then you have to report that shit and not let that slide because that shit being said to you isn't conducive to any kind of community. I also can't imagine Rippa or Dolfan or anyone else would appreciate that shit happening. Disagreements are one thing, targeted harassment is another entirely.

One last point to make... We've had to deal with someone like EN090 twice now, we've had to deal with FSW, and others I can't remember the names of. You aren't those people. You should know that even if you have a pro-WWE opinion it whatever the hell then that's not even close to a crime or anything really offensive. Offensive it's the type of shit from there people I named and again, you aren't those people.
