MLB 2019 - MARCH/APRIL

Mickey Calloway is easily the worst manager in all of baseball. There isn't even a close second, he's going to throw away tonight's game with his idiocy.

Edit: and the Mets survive on a complete act of God after a ball that was hit about as hard as you can hit baseball went right at Ahmed Rosario.

Going to see my first Jay's game of the season tonight. Kinda optimistic after this weekend, might be a plucky team with some potential to surprise.

They will still lose a load of games but hopefully after they are done cutting away the dead weight they will settle on a lineup and everyone can gain confidence.  The lack of hitting early in games is worrying but they have tried to rally and made them close.  They aren't getting blown out at least

Nats fans would like to have a conversation with you about Davey Martinez

i didn't know until watching the game last night that there is now a thing called an "equipment fine" when someone (can't remember who) slammed his bat on the ground.   Didn't even break the bat so it wasn't any damage even.   Imagine if this stupid rule was around during Bo Jackson

I'm still getting used to "the injured list."

Yeah, it's especially hard to get used when ten of your favorite team's players on there...on April 3rd.

John Sterling and Suzyn Waldman might stop calling it the DL by August.

Social Media seems torn between well wishers and people bringing up his domestic violence history.

How is the medical research industry supposed to eradicate cancer when social media keeps creating more of it?

It's fine, there's still... (checks notes)  1 Infielder on the 40 man left in Scranton.

Actually, shit, there's only 1 position player left in Scranton (2 if you count Higashioka)

Tulo strained his calf and left today's game early because of course he did

We all saw this one coming, except Hal Steinbrenner. Cashman knew it would happen eventually happen despite whatever lip service he gave. All Hal cared about was paying Tulo the league minimum.
