James Wiseman will be reinstated after a 12 game suspension and paying $11.5k to a charity of his choice.

He should offer to pay in course credits.

So Michigan might've been a tad underrated coming into the season.

To follow up on that, they jumped from unranked to #4 in the AP poll. Tying Kansas in 1989 for the highest jump from unranked ever.

They play #1 Louisville tomorrow, so that should be a good indication of where they really are.

Just watched Wisconsin, 2-point dogs at home, kick the living shit out of Indiana by 20.  College basketball is a land of contrasts.

My wife came along for her first Badger game and now she has to come to all of them because she is obviously good luck.

James Wiseman is leaving Memphis, will hire an agent and enter the 2020 NBA Draft

Apparently NBA executives have told Wiseman its highly unlikely he wouldn't be picked in the Top 5

Sources told ESPN that Memphis was "surprised" by the decision

Evansville has placed Head Coach Walter McCarty on administrative leave as he is now the subject of a Title IX investigation.

In the release, the school notes that there are allegations against him dating back to when he was hired (March 2018) and that he had previously been "counseled about his behavior"

Meanwhile, 12-3 Rutgers has quietly broken out to their best start since they went undefeated and made the Final Four in 1976. The last time they started 3-1 in conference play, that conference was the A-10 in 1995. Watch this space...

Roy Williams basically had a breakdown yesterday after Clemson beat UNC in Chapel Hill for the first time ever.

Basically said he should be fired and that the loss will be his biggest regret in his entire career

Wish granted: Rutgers is nationally ranked (as opposed to nationally rank) for the first time since 1979. Even better, tomorrow night's game against #19 Iowa will be their first ranked matchup since the 1976 Final Four.

After spending most of the Wisconsin game watching angles of the KU/KSU brawl my official ruling is that everyone acted appropriately and sometimes you just gotta fuckin' fight.

And he is officially fired. Todd Lickliter (former Iowa coach and a McCarty assistant at UE) is the new replacement.

He should have used the chair.  If he's going to be suspended indefinitely, he might as well have got his money's worth.  I'm kidding of course, but he's going to be gone for the absolute shortest lapse of judgement possible.  You just can't be caught on video looking like you are going to brain a dude with a chair, even if you immediately decide against it.

I am positive he will sit 2 games and then conveniently be back in time for the game against Texas Tech
