Inaugural ballots.

I love the Beasties, but I wouldn't bring them in on the first class.

OK so here is my 10:

1. Run D.M.C.
2. Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five
3. Rakim
4. Big Daddy Kane
5. Kurtis Blow
6. Boogiedown Productions /KRS-One
7. Sugarhill Gang
8. Public Enemy
9. LL Cool J
10. Kool Moe Dee

I really wanted to put Latifah on there just so we get some female representation but such is life. If I had to pick 11 it would be Whodini or UTFO.

De La are in my top 15 because those first 4 albums are just amazing

Speaking of The Beastie Boys, are we finally at a point where we can admit that "Licensed to Ill" is their worst album?  Not only that, "Fight for Your Right" is quite possibly their worst song.

OK, here are a couple of people we can debate whether or not they are hall of famers.

Devin the Dude

The Game

Juvenile

Kurupt

I'm not sure who my inaugural top ten would be, but I know Nas is on it. You don't record the consensus best album in the history of the genre and not go in with the first class.
