Dojo Defenders vs Top Tier was nice opener, felt like a big step up for the DD and then they pull the upset too. Dissension within Top Tier felt out of nowhere.

Holly Swag looked good in her singles debut with a quick win over Siren. Post-match promo and later angle teasing a Mother Truckers split, at least temporarily. 

Thought it was weird that Genesis was in a trios match, so I was glad that was addressed immediately. I loved how she protested all match, then made sure to help her team get the win anyways, that ruled.

Huge win for the Classmaster in the main event, nice to see her climbing up the main event mix after some good showings. although Jessie Jones should still be next in line for the title shot and has been waiting for ever. Nice cliffhanger to end on with Abilene Maverick teasing a new protégé coming soon.

Dojo Defenders vs Top Tier: Strong opener. Probably the best DD have looked to me yet. A nice upset win for DD as Coach teases some possible changes to the line up.

Siren vs Holly Swag: Rare singles match for each. Nice back and forth action with the Holly win and the blink and you missed it turn on her mama lol I was wondering if this is where things were headed with Holly seemingly into the Fab Four scene. But this was rather abrupt.

Genesis/Fury/Sylvia Sanchez vs Chantilly Chella/Island Girl/Holidead: This is truly the battle of odd ball teams. All six women are some of WOW’s more solid so no surprise that this was a pretty good match. Liked the story of Exodus not really being here for any of this lol

And how wild that we get the Ice Cold gimmick change sprung on us as almost an afterthought lol. And it looks like we get more on the Mother Truckers situation next week. Oh WOW, never change

Classmaster vs Santana Garrett: No Americana made me think that there would be Samantha Smart shenanigans lol The Classmaster is green but has a great look. Once she puts it all together, she’s gonna be good. The fact that WOW gave her this win over former champion Santana shows that they likely agree.

It feels like every week someone is fighting for a chance to fight the Beast lol

The sudden transformation of Ice Cold to Scout Parker is so bizarrely random, but she looks really great in this new version. Her opponent Xena Phoenix was impressive in her debut as well.

Animal Instinct vs. the Fierce Sisters is a good solid tag.  Reina vs. Tiki was a fun monster/underdog match with Tiki even getting a visual fall. 

Nice intro vignette for Valentina Diamante coming soon.

Great main event for the Custody of Holly. Wasn't expecting a full on heel turn from Holly at first, so the ending hit perfectly. "She hit her own mother!" Hopefully Jessie doesn't forget about her eventual world title shot.

Parker vs Phoenix: nice opener from the artist formerly known as Ice Cold and this newcomer. Hopefully, the dropping of the Ice Cold gimmick means McLane might be done with recycling old personas. Phoenix looked really promising here and WOW likely agrees, considering she gets the upset here. But Parker gets to beat her down after to hopefully lead to a rematch. 

Animal Instinct vs The Fierce Sisters: Good competitive match with another win for Animal Instinct. They have become one of the teams to watch.

Del Rey vs Tiki: As soon as I saw Tiki coming out solo, I knew she would be due shenanigans lol Tiki might have lost but getting the tap out stolen from her doesn’t quite destroy her momentum.

Custody Match: So very WOW lol Crazy that this storyline actually made Betty and Jessie the heels here lol No surprise that Holly would help the team fighting for her independence lol We are definitely gearing up for Mama vs Daughter soon

Ashley Blaze looked good, basically taking on all of the Fab 4. They're back to talking about Penelope as a #1 contender again so maybe the Jessie Jones rematch never happened.

Similarly thought Valentina Diamante looked great in her debut in a tough outing vs. Coach Campanelli. Loved the post-match setup for a trios title match with the Dojo Defenders joining Valentina.

the Chainsaw/Pep Riley story is intriguing.  Now Classmaster has the title shot next week anyways, actually feels like it's been forever since there's been a Beast defense now.

Penelope/Santana a good longer main event, similar to Ashley Blaze's match in that Santana had to fight off all the Fab 4 before falling in the end.

Blaze vs Swag: Another good showing from Blaze who goes down to the new Holly Swag. Liked the subtle hints that Penelope might not be so happy with this newest addition to the Fab Four.

Liked Siren mentioning her previous relationship with Princess Aussie. And nice foreshadowing for the tag match against Aussie and Tormenta now.

Coach vs  Valentina Diamante: Coach was a good opponent for Diamante and Top Tier were in rare form. Liked the Dojo Defenders coming out to save Diamante after her defeat. More continuity. Yay!

Aussie/Tormenta vs Siren/Chainsaw: Solid tag with more furthering of the Pep/Chainsaw storyline. I like the explanation that Tormenta dyed her hair to match Aussie lol

Penelope vs Santana: solid match as expected from these two. The Fab Four look rejuvenated.

The Alliance vs. Keta & the Mighty Mights was a fun trios opener. Not sure about dissension within the Alliance already afterwards. 

Genesis gets forced into another trios match but decides against it this time. 

Animal Instinct vs the Fierce Sisters rematch from a couple weeks ago. Another fun match, nice double rollup finish. 

Yet another swerve in not getting an announced Beast match. Sad to see her potentially done. Pretty good replacement main event in Classmaster vs. Santana again instead

The vacating of the world title seems wide open as far as who could be next champ.  A mix of new faces and a bunch of top contenders that never got their shot. Loved the classic footage of Terri Gold winning the first title in 2000. Both Beast reigns were very well built to but both had unfortunate vacant endings.

Miranda Mirage looked good in debut against the impressive Xena Phoenix.

Great trios defense from Top Tier over Valentina & the Dojo Defenders.

"Vicious" Veronica Varoom felt like a big debut getting a win over Tiki and some mic time afterwards. Her initial presentation made me realize I miss Lil J Boogie who I guess isn't around anymore. 

Super fun main event for the tag titles. Sad to see Miami Sweet Heat's 4th reign come to an end as it felt short but at the same time, thrilled for Jessie Jones to finally get something again since the world title shot never happened. Great redemption moment for Big Rig too.  the huge confetti celebration ruled.

Love that McLane mentioned going back to WOW’s roots with a 12 person battle royal for the vacant world title and then immediately showing footage of like 20 women in the ring lol Enjoyed seeing that old school WOW footage though. I remember watching Terri Gold win the title back in the day lol I’m curious on whether the Beast is really done or not. Feels like a weird way for her to go out considering how much of an attraction and threat she’s been built up to be.

Miranda Mirage vs Xena Phoenix: Decent opener from two relative newcomers. Miranda was giving me Zatanna from DC Comics vibes. Nice win for Zena who seems to be getting a bit of a push.

Top Tier vs Diamonte/Dojo Defenders: I’m always here for some continuity so pleased to see the issues between these six continue. Love that the face team came ready to kick ass lol Top Tier have been such a dominant unit. Not sure who can take them down at this point.

Veronica Varoom vs Tiki: Decent debut for Varoom, who showed some nice aggression and character work. Definite upset win over Tiki with some shenanigans. Wouldn’t mind them getting to do this again.

Sweet Heat vs Betty/Jessie: Nice action and drama in the main. At this point, Betty should be glad to be rid of Holly. Liked the slingshot spear into the corner by Sweet Heat. Nice but of surprise with Betty and Jessie winning the titles but I can’t imagine the Fab Four will let that stand for long.

Fury vs Santana: Fine opener but I was really rooting for Fury to take this one. I’m all for more fresh faces in the title scenes

Siren vs Tormenta: I dig that they’ve paired Miranda Mirage with Siren. Because, why not? Lol Loved Tormenta’s dive to the outside. Not surprised to see her qualify here because it’s Siren lol Nothing against her but I don’t think she’s ever won anything solo

Gigi vs Holly: Holly might have the best WOW theme now lol That cross body/body slam looked scary. Glad Holly was okay. Other than that, a decent match between the two and liked that it came down to shady shenanigans on both sides. Holly getting to do her Hollyhood gimmick should be gold. Already like that her joining the Fab 4 isn’t kumbaya.

Top Tier continue to be top tier lol

Penelope vs Roxxy: Penelope’s the perfect person to pair with a newcomer and this becomes Roxxy’s best showing yet. Really good main event.

A good solid series of matches with some nice tag team promos mixed in. 

All the winners went as expected, but thought Fury had a nice showing against Santana. Definitely liking this version of Holly in the fab 4.

Great main event showcased/elevated Roxxy further while Penelope qualifies for a 3rd or 4th title shot.

Raiders host Sibley Scoles joins Women of Wrestling as reporter

 

You may remember Scoles as one of the "sideline reporters" for the Jake Paul-Mike Tyson fight on Netflix.

I taped the last couple episodes of this and the wrestling is better than i expected but the drama and interviews did nothing for me. And how small is that ring? The way they shoot it makes it look like i could cross it in 2 strides, and I'm not all that tall

Glad to see Lil J Boogie is still around after all, even though out with injury. Promos led to a nice tag team opener.

Genesis/Ashley Blaze ruled. Genesis is my fav so I'm glad to see her qualify, but Ashley's run up moonsault was awesome

Veronica Varoom vs Xena Phoenix was a quick but intense match between the newcomers. They did some interesting stuff and both looked good. Dug the sudden tapout finish. 

Good tag title main event. Liked the finish so Animal Instinct didn't just eat another straight up loss and could set up a potential 3 way tag.

Foxxy vs Reina: Once I saw Foxxy rolling solo, I knew the fix was in lol But they almost made me think otherwise with the sunset flip spot. Good stuff and of course Roxxy comes out after her poor sister’s been beaten and jumped lol David banning the Alliance from ringside after this ain’t looking too good for BK’s chances

The Environmentalists vs Mighty Mights: Chile, they done switched Ice Cold’s whole personality up and gave her a new partner to boot lol Perfectly fine tag match. It looked like Sugar had gotten a three count on Scout for a second. Not sure if my eyes were playing tricks on me or someone forgot to kick out. I like the Mighty Mights but Scout needed this win bad lol Sprout looked fine but she and Scout don’t give me tag team visually yet.

Bk vs Holly: Much like the first match, BK coming in solo against Holly and Lana is all kinds of red flags lol I like that this continued the bad blood between The Alliance and Fan Four and both women came with some fire too. Lots of nice back and forth action from both. No surprise but Holly’s excelling as a heel and I love that she had a second sock of rocks. This is all feeling like it’s heading to Holly vs Penelope and I’m here for it

Sweet Heat vs Dojo Defenders: Strong main event. Sweet Heat can always get the crowd behind their opponents. Crazy that they were ever even faces lol I think this has to be the best the Dojo Defenders have looked yet.

Catching up before the next episode.  Solid opener from Foxxy & Reina. the Alliance continues to be fun.

Digging the Environmentalists, always glad to see more Scout Parker.  BK / Holly was pretty good with the expected outcome.

Loved the main event. Miami Sweet Heat kill it every time and the Dojo Defenders were on fire here. Good stuff.

The previous week didn't record for me or didn't air, so I'm catching up from the youtube clips. 

I love that they are going forward with with the 3 way tag titles match set up 2 weeks before. 

Fury/Aussie was a solid opener. Chella/Glitter ruled, nice out of nowhere finish. 

Chainsaw/Holidead was pretty good and Tormenta/Classmaster was enjoyable quick main event, almost thought Classmaster would pull off the upset.

Onto this past week's episode. I love the addition of Paola Mayfield after thinking she was out of wrestling the past couple years and a nice way to keep Abilene in the mix in a manager role. Ashley Blaze always looks good. Killer finish from Paola.

Brat Pack vs Tiki & Brittany Bay was pretty good, a nice win for the Brat Pack.

Mighty Mights vs. Top Tier was good stuff, thought the mighty Mights looked awesome here.

Triple threat tag title main event was fun, all action. With Miami Sweet Heat taking the fall, I would dig Animal Instinct still in the chase and possibly being the next champs.

Next week is the battle royal to crown the new WOW Champ

Very fun quick tag opener with the Dojo Defenders vs Environmentalists. Love the double sunset finish.

Magnificent Miranda Mirage vs Pep Riley was short but both looked good. 

Really great build to the main event battle royal for the title. Showing the 2000 footage again and I loved some of the participants getting a few seconds of promo montage leading up to it. Truly felt up in the air as far as almost anyone of them could win it. Rooting for the unlikely Genesis win but I think I settle on Tormenta as my pick.

Glad to see Animal Instinct vs. Big Rig & Jessie continuing, hilarious backstage segment there. 

Main event is very exciting, lots of fun eliminations throughout. Thought Paola would go further, figured Haley & Penelope would cancel each other out. In the end, I thought no way but popped big for the Classmaster! Great moment and well deserved after a string of impressive performances. Loved the unpredictability here.
