J.T.
Mack winning a match on television is worth watching, but the victory makes me think the book will go through with this dumb idea of Baltimore, Maryland born Rich Swann joining a heel stabled made up of dudes from fucking Ohio. Tessa Blanchard sending a message by killing someone with someone else's finisher is WWF IC Title Feud between Tito Santana & Greg Valentine levels of fucking awesome!

That makes as much sense as Maryland joining the Big Ten.

Well, at least they're on Explosion and not the main show. I do have an issue with Bram being there because fuck that guy but other than that it's whatever.
Marty Sugar
I have so many questions: are MLW guys working with TNA, or is that why Fenix and Penta were basically murdered this winter by Low-Ki's group? Is Bram out of ICW in Scotland because of the WWE insolvent there, and now back with TNA for the foreseeable future? Is the NWA working with both TNA *and* ROH, or is Corgan just trying to get his name everywhere?
Archibald
If I'm not mistaken Fenix/Penta are signed to Lucha Underground, but since MLW and Impact have partnership with LU they can use them.

I have seen a lot of crossover talent between MLW, Impact, and Ring Warriors.... or at least I did since Ring Warriors vanished from WGN's Saturday morning line-up almost as fast as it appeared there. Also, iIRC, either Impact or MLW is going to run a show at the same Vegas casino venue where Ring Warriors runs... ran.... ... you know what I am trying to say.. I am not sure what the fucking deal is. 12 minutes ago, Marty Sugar said: Is the NWA working with both TNA *and* ROH, or is Corgan just trying to get his name everywhere? My answer would be "both" as there is obviously money in nostalgia and cross pollination of talent has the same feel of when there were NWA territories and loose federation alliances where talent could come and go without incident.. TNA, RoH and the NWA could also save themselves some collective cash by swapping talent instead of maintaining separate stables.
Hail Sabin
Pentagon/Fenix are on the next MLW show in Feb defending the belts against Teddy Hart and Davey Boy.

AxB
This was a good show. Rascalz vs Fight Hermanos was a hell of a match. Mack vs Callihan was a bit of a finisher fest, but that's the era we live in now. Seemed like Tessa's squash victim was a bit green, but then Kross vs Johnny Johnny was a mad one. That Moonsault off the steps, where he headbutted the top step on the landing, ouch. Surprised they actually had Scarlett actually be on camera in lingerie so soon... but since they just changed networks and they want to show they're less PG now, it makes sense.

Hail Sabin
The twitch stream instead of commercials featured: The Steiner Math promo, The 1st Ultimate X match a good chunk of the match, A 2002 Briscoes match, Nakamura vs. Elix Skipper and Lethal/Val wedding.
DreamBroken
Good show. Fun tag opener, Mack/Sami was about on par with their Homecoming match with an exciting finishing stretch. Always great to see Big Poppa Pump, holler if ya hear me! Enjoyed the flashback to the first Ultimate X, that 2003 crowd was hot for it. Main event was an awesome brawl. Loved Johnny's steps moonsault onto the chair pile and then Kross rising from the ashes, cool visuals. Kross was great at coming off like a monster throughout this match.

Hail Sabin
Sounds like when the Live Impact on POP had issues and we got a That 70's Show commercial with one other commercial for 90 straight mins before the show was fixed and started at the beginning.
Ultimo Necro
Will echo most peoples thoughts, the opener was a ton of fun. The first hour in general flew by. Swann / Sami and Willie Mack was a good watch all the way from the promo to the match. Loved having Scarlett do her thing to almost immediately be followed by Tessa coming out and showing the complete opposite of what a modern woman in wrestling is all about. Impact is going to have a hard time holding onto Tessa I suspect. Good start to the “Pursuit era”
