Cliff Hanger
Fuuuck. I remember seeing Super Dave on the edited version of "Bizarre!" which I was really too young to be watching for the most part. I pretty much just knew him as that character for a good 15 years before finding out about his being Brooks's brother, his run on the Smothers Bros show, and the other stuff he'd done under his own name. sydneybrown
What a shit day. And he was the same age as Okerlund. They were born only a month apart. One of the best deadpan comedians ever. Loved his interviews on the old Letterman show where Dave would make fun of him and he'd just stare back in frustration.
odessasteps
When I used to listen to Lebatards show, he had Bob on regularly and was great. That Gilbert pod is making me cry with laughter.

(BP)
I had no idea Captain’s name was Daryl Dragon. Truly a missed opportunity with Captain and Tenille when they could’ve been named Double Dragon. Anyway, RIP, Do it to Me One More Time is a jam, etc.

J.T.
There used to be a racy Canadian sketch comedy show on Showtime Late Night waaaaaaaay back in the day called Bizarre featuring John Byner. Bob Einstein was the show's producer. I only watched Bizarre for two reasons: 1. Boobs. 2. Super Dave Osborne sketches. RIP to an awesome human being and thank you for being a part of my taboo cable watching memories when was a kid sneaking in late night viewing to see what the adults were checking out.
