Why are Disney spamming all these live-action remakes that no one's going to the cinema to watch?

Cinderella - $543.5 million worldwide ($201 million domestic)

Jungle Book - $966 million worldwide ($364 million domestic)

Beauty and the Beast - $1.26 billion worldwide ($504 million domestic)

Aladdin - $923.7 million worldwide ($321 million domestic - so far)

Dumbo was the only dud so far and that still made $351 million worldwide

Speaking of Disney - they are delaying Woman in the Window (starring Amy Adams. Director Joe Wright) until 2020 (it was supposed to come out Oct 4)

They need to "retool the film" as it tested poorly with the audience saying the 3rd act was too confusing.

This is one of the movies that Disney kept from Fox

Also stars Julianne Moore, Anthony Mackie and Gary Oldman

Joe Taslim has been cast as Sub-Zero in the Mortal Kombat remake

Could we just get most of the people from the Raid to be in the Mortal Kombat movie? That would be fine with me.

Also, quoting Rippa twice on one page, which I'm sure he likes because he's probably thinking, "what the fuck now?"

What Craig said.

I am good with Yayan Ruhian, Cecep Arif Rahman, Iko Uwais, and Joe Taslim supplying the martial arts talent for just about any action movie.

The Girl In The Spider's Web is a pretty bad movie.  All flash and no substance as I feared it would be

To be fair, it was a pretty shitty book too.

I can't remember the last thing I saw her in.

Probably The Waterboy with Adam Sandler.

If you've got the Goth chick hankerin' that most of these yahoos have, the first thing you saw her in obviously was The Craft.

No arguments here.   I hate all of the Millennium spin-offs almost as much as I hate the extended Jason Bourne shit.

Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call - New Orleans. First would be Return to Oz. She was in GTA: Vice City as well.

I think Almost Famous was the last one I saw.

Though she apparently did a handful of episodes of Ray Donovan.

I've haven't watched Ray Donovan in awhile, but when I did, that show was the destination for people you ain't seen in awhile or worked consistently in years. The last time I watched Lisa Bonet had a supporting role.

Yep... Although the first thing that made me a yahoo for her was the shitty 1996 Island of Dr. Moreau. I might have saw that  after an episode of WCW Thunder back in the day.

As a long time Krav Maga stylist and non-believer of TKD School / Black Belt Factory bullshit, I feel that I absolutely have to go and see this movie.

I've met so many people that have gone into TKD schools thinking that they will be magically transformed into Iga Clan killing machines after one or two weeks of training that it really isn't funny.

It looks like the dark comedic version of Karate Kid Part 3.
