This week's main event was perfectly fine.  Kind of random.  No real issue between Lethal, Gresham, Bandido or Haskins- so it was pretty much cold off the ground.  ROH is doing WCW Main Event main events now.

Wait Marty debuted in Ring of Honor in 2006?  What did he do in Ring of Honor from 2006 to about 2014.

So basically at the MSG main event assuming that they even knew about contracts which is doubt 100% they chose a guy leaving 2 months before another person that the majority of fans thought should have won.   I guess even they thought nobody would want Taven.

Nothing. He debuted in ROH 2016, not 2006. That was going to be Bram's year.

Debuted in ROH in 2016. Not debuted in Wrestling

I literally fell asleep shortly after it started and woke up after the show has ended.  Your lukewarm review coupled with little interest in Lethal compelled me to not bother to rewind it.

Update On ROH Deals For Matt Taven and Marty Scurll, If They’ll Stay, Potential AEW & WWE Interest

We previously reported that ROH Champion Matt Taven’s contract is set to expire at the end of this month, while Marty Scurll has a contract that will expire in November. According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, those within ROH expect Taven to stay in ROH and he is currently in negotiations to do just that.

One of the reasons to give the ROH title to Taven, even though his contract expired before Scurll’s (in spite of the belief at the time), was that ROH wanted to build Taven up and Scurll was the bigger risk of leaving. Meanwhile, ROH wanted to use Scurll to build up PCO and Brody King. PCO, like Rush, Jeff Cobb and Bandido, has a one-year deal. It’s unknown where he’ll go when that deal is up, but it’s believed that due to his age it’ll be the “highest bidder.” Bandido and Cobb are likely to remain as they like the easier schedule and access to NJPW.

As for Scurll, AEW is obviously interested in him, especially more than Taven, when his contract expires. He is in talks to stay, but he is friends with The Elite and was made more popular with the Being the Elite series. WWE is also said to be a “viable” option for their NXT brand. The report says “not to dismiss the idea he’d go to any of the three options,” meaning ROH, AEW or WWE.

So Brody has signed multi-year deal? As for PCO, I remember that he got very good deal from RoH, doesn't feel like someone is actually going to offer more money to him.

Also, do I get it right? Marty is in talks to stay in RoH? Like him staying in RoH is a real possibility?

VETV feels quite a lot like the very early BTE episodes, except a bit less... organic, maybe? Like they're less comfortable having a casual conversation on camera.
