Are there any new generation guys carrying on the matwork style they do I should seek out? Sadly not enough. Look for Virus vs Metalico if you haven't seen it yet or Virus vs Electrico in Puebla. AAA show was good tonight. Fenix/Kenny easily a MOTYC. 3 way mixed tag was very fun & Copa Pena was also fun until the final 2 when it got great and is must-see. Robert
Arez vs Aramis for the RIOT championship on 11/2 in Monterrey. Awesome match! Aramis is great, everyone knows it. Arez is so underrated.
odessasteps
The 2 Chavo Lutteroths were the ones to publicly honor Tiger Hattori last night, not Sofia. Here's what Cubs wrote about it The interview with the Lutteroths is peculiar. The younger Salvador Lutteroth doesn’t speak much. The older Lutteroth does, says his son is the person in charge of CMLL and has an unprompted bit near the end about how his father built all these arenas and there wouldn’t be any lucha libre in Mexico without him. It came off as a response to something, not a question one of the interviewers had, but something he had heard and wanted to fire back about. I’m not sure if it was anger about praise towards AAA, or praise toward Paco Alonso (making the point it is his father’s promotion, not Paco’s?) or something else going on in the mind of an old and rich man, but it came across strangely. This whole Hattori being honored bit was something Sofia Alonso would’ve been in charge of in the last few years, even when Paco was still alive. Sofia was back, she turned up on social media, but she wasn’t officially on the show. I’d be interested to find out if that was her choice or the Salvadors’ decision. It may not be as big a deal to the fans in the building as it comes across on the internet. Every show uploaded to YouTube has plenty of “give the company back to Sofia!” comments, but there wasn’t any noticeable negative reaction to the Lutteroths in front of the crowd as has been seen in other similar situations. Robert
95 year old Chavo Lutteroth II definitely comes off as someone with one foot in the grave already if you know what I mean. Not sure why they put him in front of a microphone but clearly he had a message to get out which for all we know may end up being his last. Archibald
And they did an angle with him and NGD. I'll laugh very hard if we'll never see him again in Arena Mexico.
odessasteps
As Cubs pointed out, it will be at least a month, since next week is the legends show and he is booked in the US the next two weeks after that. Edit: or not. Bandido is on next Fridays show after all. Edited November 30, 2019 by odessasteps
Archibald
Bandido and Flamita were also replaced on AAA's show so it does feel like it is a bit more planned than some other stuff that CMLL does. But now the main question is who is going to replace Sanson to feud with him? On the other hand four weeks is not that long, if Bandido is willing they can easily drag it out till Sanson is back. odessasteps
You could easily just feed him the other Dinamitas for a month. It helps that he will begone 2 of those weeks.
Matt D
They should just give him a couple of lightning match squashes. ....what?

Robert
Main eventers get paid main event money for the evening. Efesto has been with the company nearly 20 years. What? Did you think Hechicero was gonna get that spot?
odessasteps
Bandido’s biggest worry now is probably “will I now have to job to Ultimo Guerrero on Friday.”

Cobra Commander
Tineblas Jr looks massive standing next to Fuerza Guerrera. Also, Alushe (the actual one or whoever they put in the outfit) might have left his feet more often than the 6 guys in the match (having the match end with a low blow is exactly what we all deserved) Edited December 7, 2019 by Cobra Commander

Robert
Legit the worst match of the night. People don't want to admit it because it marks the end of an era but Navarro is done. Panther is done. Super Astro has it in him to do the one spot we remember of him per match but is otherwise done. Casas is the last one standing in terms of an old legend that can still work at an acceptable level. And even he is not even close to what he was pre-injured by Sam 450 & the health problems that followed.
