Maybe a new gimmick for Johnny Bravo, but for some reason I think it actually will be Johnny Swinger. What kind of shape is Simon Diamond in these days? Can anyone find Big Dick, Mitch, and the Musketeer?

I think Big Dick is dead?

Impact announcing that the title vs career match with the The North vs LAX this morning is some unfortunate timing.   but that is what happens when you book months in advance

Actually given who debuted last night to feud with Taya, last night was a pretty shitty night for Impact

Sean Ross Sapp on where things stand with Killer Kross.

Quote

To say things haven't improved between IMPACT Wrestling and Killer Kross would be an understatement.

Kross was in the headlines earlier this year when he and girlfriend Scarlett Bordeaux both asked for their releases from the company. While Bordeaux's was granted, Kross' was not, and he's sat in limbo through most of the Summer.

In noticing that Kross hasn't been booked to wrestle for IMPACT since Slammiversary, Fightful sent an inquiry to the company for clarity on his status Sunday. Tuesday, Bill Pritchard of Wrestlezone issued a report that Fightful was able to confirm, noting that Kross refused to blade during his Slammiversary match with Eddie Edwards in July. The concerns raised were the lack of blood testing, and the absence of an on-site doctor that made talent feel unsafe about the request

The story ended up tying together with another, when Fightful reached out to several employees and wrestlers about the news that IMPACT would be paying for hotels. In asking around, many wrestlers claimed that they've not been paid in full for their merchandise. We should clarify this wasn't across the board, but were told is was a point of contention between IMPACT and Kross in the past, as well.

We were told that many IMPACT contracts are structured to include non-disparagement clauses, and provisions to prevent talent from speaking on what the deals entail. When speaking with an employee of IMPACT Wrestling, they noted that Kross has been speaking with the company via an attorney for several weeks, and believes that IMPACT has been in breach of his contract. IMPACT still reportedly has several months on the deal, and the option to roll it over, though the amount of time was indeterminate.

This could also end up affecting Kross' AAA bookings. AAA has a show coming up on September 15, and is actually gaining the help of IMPACT to promote the event, an IMPACT worker revealed. IMPACT and Ed Nordholm specifically are said to be allowing AAA to use their promoter's license and several other amenities, and implied to the company that they'd prefer Killer Kross to not be on those shows. Kross has worked dozens of dates for AAA over the last several years, most recently at August's TripleMania show.

Fightful has reached out to IMPACT Wrestling in an official capacity on Killer Kross' status, the story about him refusing to blade, among other aspects, and have not heard back.

Kinda reminds of situation with Drake who was supposedly, if I remember right, fired for not wanting to do intergender match. And it sounds like both problems could have been avoided if they asked if the talent was okay with blading/intergender match before announcing it.

Meltzer had an update in last week's WON regarding Kross - that one had rumored contract numbers

Quote

Killer Kross and Impact remain at an impasse. He is still under contract but wasn't used at the last set of tapings. He was on a per show deal and wanted a guarantee. The story we were told is that he was offered a $40,000 guarantee with the idea that they only have a small number of shows per year so he can augment that income elsewhere. He was looking for around $100,000 and was turned down, wanted a release, and turned down in that request, with the mentality that he signed with them and when he did nobody else was interested and now that people are interested shouldn't give him the right to leave before the end of his contract. They did gave his girlfriend, Scarlett Bordeaux, a release when she asked for it. At this point it doesn't appear she's signed anywhere

So is it that he won't blade or that he won't blade unless I guess Eddie Edwards or the ref takes a blood test?  Although I wouldn't even think of wrestling much less bleeding if there isn't any  adequate doctors on staff.  I mean that is just typical TNA cheapness.   Then again he does work for AAA where the blade is very useful in angles and quite frankly who knows what is going on in that locker room

Impact Wrestling sources have confirmed to PWInsider.com that Killer Kross is not booked for this week's TV tapings. The company remains steadfast in their belief that they offered Kross a six-figure deal (we are told the six figures are in total over three years, broken down as $40K, $60K and $80K) in a new deal, which Kross declined and that he is being held to his existing deal, which has 18 months left. We are also told by Impact sources that Kross has hired an attorney and is using that attorney to facilitate all communication between the two sides. In regard to the blading issue, Impact sources claim that their side were the ones who offered the fake blood to Kross when he declined to blade and there was no issue with his choice. While conceding there were no doctors at the Slammiversary event, Impact sources stated they did have EMTs present at the show.
