Gonzo Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 (edited) For those of us that aren't participating in the 2018 NFL playoffs. . .damn it. . .it's time to start looking at the 2019 NFL Draft. Here are how the first 20 picks look right now. The team records and Strength of Schedule (the first tiebreaker) are there as well. Brian Fowler Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 Those two first rounders Oakland got looked a lot better before Mack and Cooper became the lynchpins of playoff runs.

Mack is a stud but the contract was going to murder their cap leaving them unable to add help on the d-line. Amari Cooper on the other hand had those 2 big games for Dallas but the last 3 weeks have been 4 for 32 yards, 4 for 20 yards and 5 for 31 proving that Amari doesn't seemed to be arsed enough to go all out every week and is going to demand a superstar contract after next year

dogwelder Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 And it looks like the MLB front office is bending backwards trying to prevent Murray from entering the draft: Quote Sources told MLB.com's Jon Paul Morosi on Sunday night that the A's are permitted to give Murray -- who's believed to be leaning toward football -- additional money (and a spot on their 40-man roster), as long as MLB officials believe that no such agreement was made in advance of his entry contract. Ranked as the A's No. 4 prospect by MLB Pipeline, Murray would have four Minor League option years -- and run out of options after the 2022 season -- rather than the usual three, because MLB rules grant a fourth option for players expending their third option year before completing five Minor League seasons. Several Oakland officials met with Murray in Dallas on Sunday in an attempt to lure him back to the diamond, MLB.com confirmed. Vice president of baseball operations Billy Beane and general manager David Forst were among the A's leading representatives. In addition, MLB sent marketing executives from the league office to attend the meeting and present information regarding Murray's off-field earning potential, sources told Morosi.

Gonzo Posted February 4, 2019 Author Posted February 4, 2019 Unless the Rams stage a furious comeback in the last 1:06, the complete first round draft order is set.
RIPPA Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 This year's comp picks. Per Barnwell - looks like the only "surprise" was the Giants thought they were going to get a 4th rounder for Justin Pugh and didn't
RIPPA Posted February 27, 2019 Posted February 27, 2019 The Jets have pretty much said "please come take the #3 pick from us"
Dolfan in NYC Posted February 28, 2019 Posted February 28, 2019 Never forget, the NFL is run by petty, petty little dilettantes.
Dolfan in NYC Posted February 28, 2019 Posted February 28, 2019 This just in... the NFL are just as good as gimmicking height/weight as the WWE.
Gonzo Posted March 13, 2019 Author Posted March 13, 2019 Order has been updated with the Giants/Browns trade that includes Odell Beckham, Jr., and the #17 overall pick.
RIPPA Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Dwayne Haskins isn't attending the draft so of course that has immediately become HIS STOCK HIS FALLING!!! HE WILL NEVER GET DRAFTED!!!!

RIPPA Posted April 16, 2019 Posted April 16, 2019 Someone this morning tweeted - and I have to find it - that this is the first time they can ever remember that not a single QB is a universal first round grade on them. So it is either everyone is getting better at lying or team's are crazier than ever
hammerva Posted April 19, 2019 Posted April 19, 2019 (edited) This is going well Oh yeah it should have gone here Edited April 19, 2019 by hammerva 2
Dolfan in NYC Posted April 19, 2019 Posted April 19, 2019 Oh god, they're going to do something horrifically stupid like trading their next 5 1's for Kyler. Please, please, please....
RIPPA Posted April 22, 2019 Posted April 22, 2019 For the record - Rapoport is sticking with the Raiders/scouts thing is a HUGE DEAL~! He just now said on NFL Network that his is being lead to believe that the Raiders is going to have a "Surprising" pick #4 that requires supreme secrecy (whatever the hell that means) The only thing everyone can agree on right now is that the Raiders are going to fire the majority of the scouts post draft (since they are all the old regimes guys) so that is a big reason they were sent home because guys who know they aren't keeping their jobs are more likely to leak.

On one hand I want to ask why Rippa hates me. On the other...Rapoport does not have a good track record for...you know...accuracy so....yeah. The race for Tula in 20! begins!
