Well, got the not watching or caring about that thing out of the way. On a side note, Patriots to win next 3 Super Bowls in similar fashion, sport to close up shop by 2030.

Raiders have agreed to play their home games next year in San Fran. More specifically whatever the fuck AT&T Park is now

Most importantly, this means that the Raiders get to continue to have a baseball diamond in the middle of their field.

They should absolutely use that as a gimmick in their new Vegas stadium with the fake turf.  That would be a pretty simple way to give their games a unique feel to them and like you said it would just feel right.

And Carson Wentz Nick Foles has informed the Eagles he's exercising his $2M buyout option.  He is now a free agent.

Good.

Why do I think calls will mysteriously always be going against the Niners for at least the next decade after this?

Fixed.

Btw, Rapaport said that the Eagles still retain the right to franchise Foles.   It would cost $25M.

They are still going to at least try and trade him

It is part of some elaborate plan to all the Eagles to trade him and Foles to get decent compensation

Both moves were expected, with Foles paying the team $2 million to buy back his freedom.

The Eagles now can place the franchise tag on the backup quarterback in hopes of trading him. The franchise tag for quarterbacks is expected to be around $25 million for next season, with the window for use of the tag opening Feb. 19.

Foles must sign the tag for the Eagles to trade him.

The price for Foles is expected to be around the third round, Schefter reports.

By placing the franchise tag on Foles and seeking a trade, the Eagles control where Foles ends up. The Giants and Washington both likely enter the offseason in the market for a quarterback. So Philadelphia can keep Foles from ending up with an NFC East rival.

Nah, the 49ers and NFL want the Raiders to play at Levi's Stadium if they can't get a deal with the Oakland Coliseum. Mark Davis is the issue, he wants no part of playing second fiddle to the 49ers and it seems would rather play at Frank Yuell Field 2.0 than be a tenant of the York kid.

It's kind of odd that a team located 40some miles from San Francisco still can claim rights to it.

Either way, the Raiders are tenants.

They will either pay rent and a cut of their action to a baseball team or another football team.

Which do you think the football league would rather have happen?

This way the 49ers get to kayfabe the "rivalry" with the Raiders and work the fans and make a show of "sticking up for The Bay" by complicating the Raiders relocation but actually being a good little soldier organization in the NFL mafia.  And in the end they'll even make some extra revenue as an NFL Landlord.  Who says you can't have your cake and eat it too?

Like they'll be good enough at any point in the next ten years for it to make a difference.

Yup, the other shoe that dropped was that the Niners have no problem waiving those same rights in Santa Clara, where they'd be the ones getting paid rent.

But Levi's is a fucking terrible location, and Davis doesn't want to be the Niners bitch.

I find it hilarious that a player that's worth "only" a 3rd round pick stands to make $25m.
