It what is fitting for all parties involved - Gregg Williams is trying to swindle a better deal out of the Skins to be DC than the one the Jets thought they had in place with Williams

Looks like Washington's pastures are not quite as green as New York's.   Williams is close to finalizing a deal to become the Jets DC.

Now in the right thread

International Games have been announced

London

Panthers vs. Bucs

Texans vs. Jags

Bears vs. Raiders

Bengals vs. Rams

Mexico

Chiefs vs. Chargers

It's the first time Carolina and Houston will play in London making the Packers the only team who haven't played in the UK yet

Miami has granted permission to Dowell Loggains to speak to other teams and won't block him from leaving.  He's expected to become the new OC for the Jets.

Under Loggains, the Dolphins ranked 31st in total offense.

Only halfway through the article (thanks strep for keeping me home from work) but this gem sticks out:

Quote

Marketing executives wanted employees to see how fans were engaging with the Browns on social media, so they projected the Browns feed onto a giant wall at the facility. It was like broadcasting talk radio over the entire building, and one day in particular, it was worse than that. One of the marketing staffers entered a search for #dp -- for Dawg Pound. The problem was, that hashtag carried a few different meanings, one of which triggered an array of porn to be broadcast onto a wall for the entire office to see for more than 20 minutes, until a tech employee killed the feed.

So it was midnight last night and drunk me thought it would be a good idea to watch the Panthers/Patriots Super Bowl replay on NFL network ... the first time I've been able to watch that game since watching it live.  That fucking kickoff by John Kasey is even worse than I remember and that shot of him on the sidelines with his stupid earplugs casually sipping water afterwards still makes my blood boil.  Maybe I'll try watching it again in another 15 years, the wound is still too fresh.

Looks like Flores is bringing in his buddies, per the Sun-Sentinel, the front runner to become Miami's new OC is Pats WR coach Chad O'Shea.

I'm generally okay with this, next year probably isn't going to be great, so he can slide in, learn the job and sink his claws into Tua or Justin Hebert or whatever QB is drafted in 2020.   (Assuming Miami doesn't sign Foles.)

Adam Vinatieri is about to sign a one year deal with the Colts.  It will be his 24th season in the league.

Also, Chicago is working out Nick Folk.  As anyone who is in the greater New York City area can tell you...  They'd be better off with Parkey.

Referee Pete Morelli is retiring after 22 seasons.   He's called multiple Super Bowls, but is probably best known for one of the weirdest plays in NFL history:

He also officiated the 2009 NFC Championship Game.

So, you know, fuck that guy directly in the neck.
