driver Posted February 16, 2019 Posted February 16, 2019 Even though Terry Jacks' version was a cover and the song gets named as one of the worst songs of the 70s, I still love the shit out of it. I give you Westlife destroying this great song.
Execproducer Posted February 16, 2019 Posted February 16, 2019 Seasons in the Sun is the 70's and anyone who thinks it's a bad song is a soulless clown. And I refuse to listen to that boy band version. 3

Any cover Five Fingercock punch does is the worst. You want bad, listen to their cover of House of the Rising Sun. *shudders* 2

Most people I talk to are of the consensus that Joe Cocker is arguably the best cover artist around. You cannot say that he doesn't bring his own sound to a cover song. Opinions of how good or shitty his covers were tend to be determined by how much you revere The Beetles and whether or not you like his rather gravelly singing voice. Disagree, J.T. . And I know I'll catch he'll for this but Disturbed does the best covers, hands down. 1
Matt D Posted February 25, 2019 Posted February 25, 2019 I'll just leave this here for you guys to do with it as you will (I think she was ~7 when Jackson died):
odessasteps Posted February 25, 2019 Posted February 25, 2019 Is there a new country version of Dead Flowers out now? I heard an awful version while eating lunch that was neither the Stones or Van Zandt versions.
COLETTI Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 Very surprised by the love for Disturbed here, to be honest. I saw them, then unknown to me, with Danzig, Six Feet Under, and Converge and needless to say the audience was NOT into it. Singer douche acted like he was gonna meet some of the front row people in the parking lot after to fight. Awful, awful shit to my ears. 1

COLETTI Posted March 5, 2019 Posted March 5, 2019 Eh, they put on a fine show, and I think Joey Castillo was playing drums which ruled, plus Converge ripped it up. This was sometime between 1999 and 2001, forget exactly and Google isn't helping.
