As my man Jon Bon Jovi said,  ONE MORE TIME... WITH FEELING!

lol Gronk

We could literally not win again this season, and this is enough for me.   That being said, the Dolphins have @ Minnesota, vs NYJ, @ Buffalo...   all of which are competitive to winnable.  Well, one at a time.

Football's good.  Yeah.

My favorite part of DC's meteoric fall is that 5 weeks ago, they held a "Native American celebration/blessing" ceremony.

They have not won a game since.

Carson Wentz is (probably) out for the Eagles this week.   Depending on who you believe, he may be done for the season.

To follow up, Wentz has a fracture in his back, which sucks.  But, it gets worse:

This... seems like it's going to be  a problem.

So the rest of the story is that there was apparently mass turnover in the training and medical staffs for the Eagles after the Super Bowl win.  The players as a whole have been unhappy with the treatment and skill of the new staff and have been seeking - more than the norm - outside opinions and treatment.  Wentz has had the fracture in his back for several weeks and it went undetected despite numerous CT scans.  The players are seeing this - perhaps rightly so - as another example of the medical staff being incompetent or otherwise not up to the task of caring for the well-being of the players.

Props to Cleveland's defense. I thought Cleveland screwed themsleves by giving it to Chubbs on that 4th and 1, when Denver got that stop. With how much he was running it, Denver had to have been prepared for, and they were. But, Cleveland got four stops of their own and managed to win anyway.

Gregg Williams has now won more games in six weeks as the Browns' head coach (4) than Hue Jackson did in 2.5 years (3).

Gregg Williams is still a human colostomy bag, but he's going to somehow weasel a head coach gig out of this.

He'll probably never come close to being as good as he is athletic, but every once in awhile you see something that reminds you just how freakishly gifted physically Jabril Peppers is.
