Speaking of Sid...does his random feud vs.  The Night Stalker,  Big Cat and Motor City Madman hold up?  As a kid I found that all to be very entertaining.  How did it come about?  He was a member of the Horsemen at the time and he's randomly feuding with other heels and then he and Dan end up reuniting

My friend, it never had handles to begin with.

Trademarks I would assume. You can't trademark a common word, but you can an intentional misspelling.

See also: Rhino becoming Rhyno, and Taz becoming Tazz.

In Taz's case, it was also to avoid any possible suit from AOL/Time Warner.

It's also stated in Pillman's book that he had been complaining about what he thought was just bad heartburn before his death.

The way my wife explained it, the pain in the chest and left arm numbness are more consistent with women when it comes to heart attacks. In men the symptoms are things like bad heartburn, nausea, sweating (however excessive) and it can all look more like the flu than anything else. I think we talked about that stuff right around when Kevin Smith had his heart attack.

And Steve Austin became Stunned Clod Stave Austen. Wait...

A friend of mine that was still in undergrad when I went off to get my master's could never discuss wrestling with me over email without referring to "Stone Cold Steve Autism".  This is why we have autocorrect now.

I also looked up the x division match I referenced earlier. Nash was scheduled to lose to Sabin at Hard Justice 2006 and hurt his neck(allegedly) the week before moving furniture. Alex Shelly took his place.

Nash blew a quad walking across the ring. Hurting his neck while moving furniture sounds plausible, assuming you believe Nash wouldn't try to get out of moving furniture in the first place.

Many years later, he would eat their children, they should have listened.

Triple H has four kids. Chances are, Tyson would fill up on the first three, at the most. That would leave Hunter with at least one kid. That's not too bad.

I remember Warrior's appearance on RAW right before he died. He was sweating profusely and looked really bad.

You know Vince is still stinging over the WWF thing, so it would be like him to make a vegan environmentalist heel champion 15 years later.

Eddie Guerrero wasn't looking good in retrospect towards the end.

I remember after Summerslam that year I posted that he should take a few months off. He looks so damn exhausted. In retrospect the same thing could be said about The Ultimate Warrior. I mean just watch everything from the Hall of Fame weekend. He was with out a doubt having all the tell tale signs of a heart attack. I'm surprised no one really noticed.

Then you have all the stories about Eddy from that time where until match time he would just be laying down flat somewhere and in pain, but once it was his time to perform he would go out and perform.

Already trademarked by the ice cream people I assume.

or Disney in reference to Gargoyles. Man, as much as I love Michael Dorn as Cold Stone, now I kinda wish Austin were involved in some kinda Gargoyles revival. I mean he's gotta be a better VA casting choice than say, Jim Belushi right?
