I watched that Raw live on USA. I get goosebumps every time I watch it. The whole crowd Yesing in unison with D-Bry. Last time an angle felt speacial to me

Not too far removed from that, but the Shield/Wyatt's program felt special to me. Also, the Shield's face turn where they took out Corporate Kane instead of Lawler. The Shield face run didn't last nearly long enough. Of course, the attempted reunions since have been cursed. The Wyatt's nor the Shield should have ever been split completely.

I can't remember if the Wyatts fighting the Shield happened before or after the big years movement moment, but that angle between the two groups where it looked like they would just stare each other down and then walk away, only to both step up into the ring to fight was fucking electric.

Random day off on account of slow holiday retail traffic, it is 3pm and i'm drunk as a lord watchin Colt Cabana dodge Ian Rotten's homophobic/anti-semitic commentary @ the 2002 Ted Petty while I grind out the ol' JRPG backlog

thanks rutube, thanks classic Baltimore white trash, thanks saccharomyces

02-03 IWA MS does not age well, you have Necro and Mitch Page nearly biting it in ring, JC Bailey just looking, well not right, and as you said some absolutely horrible commentary.

Then you have what you may remember as vintage Punk, Cabana, Hero, Smothers, but generally it's just ok but it looks 10000 times better than the crappy Ian Deathmatch stuff that it tricks you into thinking it's awesome.

Its a minor miracle the TPI shows had some great performers on them.  Ian must be a hell of a salesman.

EDIT - I forgot about Bull Pains awesome IWA run around that time, I really enjoyed that.

There's still at least 4-6 Major shows and a Tournament for NJPW between now and then, so you won't get anything on that side, other than the Bucks confirming they won't be on it, which casts a shadow for the rest of The Elite being involved.

The Bucks being so seemingly honest about not being on the show still makes me think they're "working the marks" and will be there.

I watched the Paige video. I won't share the details here...but I will on my hotline. $1.99 for the first minute, 99 cents each addition minute. Kids under 18, get your parents permission. 1-900-909-9900

My access code stopped working, and now they are trying to trace the call.

Another takeaway from my delving into pre-peak IWA - there's nothing wrong with Dave Prazak on commentary. With the right wrestler in the booth he can make a mediocre card breeze right by. I say this knowing nearly nothing of his RoH work.

I enjoyed Prazak's ROH work during Gabe's time. It wasn't until Adam Pearce's reign of terror and becoming the heel announcer overnight that Prazak turned to shit. There was no gradual transition from Gabe to Pearce. Pearce was such an awful choice; just a fucking god awful booker.

Bucks and Cody (or Page) versus Scurll, PCO, and King, friends versus the compatriot they left behind, seems too obvious to never do. (Though Marty will presumably sign with them soon enough, so maybe they let that presumptive animosity simmer.)

Marty still gets a world title shot from winning Survival of the Fittest and defending that title shot against Christopher Daniels @ Final Battle. I could see either Lethal vs. Marty for the title or Lethal vs. Marty vs. Taven.

On that note, does anyone actually know when Marty's contract is up? I've seen that his contract is up in April, September, and 2020. If Marty isn't leaving in April, I think he'll win the title from Lethal, then drop it to Matt Taven. Can't say I'm too terribly excited about a Matt Taven title reign unless he loses it to Jeff Cobb.

And regarding what @AxB said I would sure hope nobody watched the Paige video.  But it's quite possible some did and wisely decided not to say anything about it (I really don't wanna know any details)

Even before that, it just seems like a good sign:

Whether it's a leaked video or official video, we can all agree:

If you are willing to talk about what porn videos you watch and the like...you're probably a creep.

So I went to the Baltimore SD house show tonight.  It was mostly the same show as the Long Island one https://www.f4wonline.com/wwe-results/wwe-long-island-live-results-daniel-bryan-vs-john-cena-cage-match-273276  but still a pretty fun time.  The crowd was molten hot for Cena/Bryan and that was at most a basic cage match.  Seeing Nakamura saddened me as it seems like he's in going-through-the-motions mode on nights like this.  I heard he was like this in NJPW at times also but I think him heading back there after the contract ends or even to AEW is what he needs for added motivation.

I'm going to spoiler the rest as it's basically me going crazy about Becky who happened to come by for a high five.

With all that said after the women's triple threat ended Becky went by the stage where I happened to be sitting.  Which means that I high fived Becky fucking Lynch.  It's such a random thing that might not mean much to her but it meant a shitton to me.  It had me fanboying for at least a good hour and a half.  I held off on any comments regarding Becky's looks in the past because it goes without saying (won't say anything about it after this post).  But I will say that as beautiful as she looks on TV she somehow is even more gorgeous in person.  So I guess you could say I'm quite smitten by her and tonight intensified that ten-fold.    I'm tagging  @The Natural on this as I'm sure he'd like to know.
