Gonzo
We're now into the sixth overtime between LSU and aTm. The overtime periods of this game alone have been nuts. And LSU gets the touchdown and the two-point conversion to tie it at 66, so now we're heading to overtime #7. Officially tied for the longest game in NCAA history. Brian Fowler
1 hour ago, Brian Fowler said: UCF's absurdly slim chance is basically dead. If Oklahoma and Ohio both lose, and the top two both win, 538's model gives UCF a 34% chance to make it. They give Georgia with two loses 26% and the loss Texas somehow 27%. If Georgia wins, there is almost no path for the Knights (15% if they win and both OU and OSU lose) If I go absolutely crazy and have Pitt join Northwestern and Texas in the upset parade, and Bama run, it slips UCF all the way to 44%, but also tells you this is a basically impossible scenario and choose something else. So the slim chance does survive.

JonnyLaw
1 hour ago, Brian Fowler said: Larry Fedora has been fired. I hate that it didn’t work out for him, but since going 11-1 with an ACC Championship Game appearance in 2015 and headed into the final three weeks of 2016 with a chance to return, we went into a free fall, with only six wins total since. That includes a 2-16 ACC record (two wins against Pitt). There’s push to hire Mack Brown along with a head coach in waiting to take over in a few years. Brian Fowler
Jimbo Fisher's nephew, undergrad assistant Cole Fisher, punched a 54 year old man with a pacemaker (Steve Kragthorpe) in the chest after a game his team won. And he's damn lucky he wasn't murdered by Kevin Faulk for doing so.
