I am shocked that a death match between an actor having a midlife crisis and a glorified yard tard somehow went awry. And Sabu is right, fuck JR.

Also as if that's not Liam Neeson wanting the BEALT/you don't want a redux of Taken with Shamrock just belly to bellying middle eastern sex traffickers for 2hrs.

He is also by his own admission near illiterate. He has suffered a lot personally and professionally, The injuries have finally caught up to him physically and I think mentally.

From like 1980-1986, pretty much every television match he has follows the same formula: high stepping dance, clap clap clap, whip into ropes, back body drop, clap clap clap, body slam, clap clap clap "heyyyyyy babbbbaaaay", clap clap clap, whip to ropes, back elbow, weird looping elbow drop, 1-2-3, clap clap clap, high stepping dance, exeunt. If kayfabe was real, Jimmy Valiant should have gotten every title shot ever. He was trucking guys at a time when jobbers usually got quite a bit of offense in. I saw him live for a leg of the '88 Great American Bash, and I can vouch that, after dodging a corner shoulder block from Teijo Khan, he proceeded to "air hump" Khan from behind.
Guest Edwin
I have no idea how you guys can watch handheld matches. I can never get into them and sometimes struggle to into shows without commentary. Not strictly based on his performance today, but Johnny Gargano has got to be a top 10 candidate for wrestler of the year along with Matt Riddle and WALTER. Edit: Just saw someone on social media say Shannon Moore is a "WWE legend."

It was a fun trainwreck. I'm most likely going to watch Gage vs. Arquette again. Plus, it's a treat to see the Great Sasuke. Human Tornado and Penelope Ford put on a hell of a match, although people are going to have obvious problems with it. That's a can of worms I just don't feel like opening. Victator
Sabu went into more detail about why he hates Jim Ross. In 1988 the NWA ran Detroit with the Sheik in the main event. His pay was 10,000 dollars or half the gate, whichever was higher. The show was a near sell out and Sheik only got ten grand. Someone told Sheik that Ross made the call not to pay the money. So he views it as Ross stole 90,000 from his family. Jim Cornette mentioned this show and there was some skirmish about pay, Sheik was suppose to do a return match but quit. The show did not draw half of what Sheik drew. The first show had Dusty and Sheik as partners vs I think Al Perez and Larry Zbyszko. Sheik turned on Dusty and the next Detroit show would be Dusty vs Sheik.
cool arrow
Just for the record, it was Kevin Sullivan and Dick Murdoch. Sheik of course turned on Dusty, so Murdoch made the save, leading to a brief babyface run for the Outlaws.
